| I'm team Shirou all the way. He went off the rails a little but it's understandable. I think Alan's ancestor used night howlers or something to incite the violence. Why did they bring an army of the Beastmen were fighting amongst themselves? It's that or Shirou's tribe got rabies or something similar. Not buying the Beastmen can't live together. Michiru believes in Alan too much. No one should believe Alan. Michiru: Alan you blew up city hall Alan: My apologies, the bomb was supposed to create a vitamin cloud. We wanted to do something to help b/c it's so hard to get Beastman to go to the Vet. Micharu: That's great Shirou: I'ma rip out your throat |

| Wow this got complicated real fast, this feels like one big grey zone, it's hard to tell who's in the right here. I understand the mayors view with the syndrome. But I also understand how Shirou feels, doing this will basically genocide the Beastmen. For a second I thought Alan was going to be the "good guy", thought it was going to be a subvert of expectations kind of thing up until the part where the Priminister betrayed the Mayor. |

| I'm pretty sure Sylvasta created the rampaging issue himself. Saying they were killing each other give him a legitimate excuse to rid the city of beastmen. He has such a large "Bad guy" Vibe. |

| Hmmm... Nice plot twist, if we assume the guy is telling the truth. Refuting his argument about humans beating beastmen with spears and arrows because they killed each other is honestly hard to refute. I also wondered why in flashback beasts allegedly didn't fight back. Even Shirou can't deny such possibility. Turning beastmen into humans still seems sketchy to me though. This reminded me of Zootopia plot-twist lol. Just like in that movie, here we saw that first case of beastman going feral was STAGED, so second one may have likely been staged too (considering both MC's were conveniently nearby). I think that's what I'm gonna believe for now. In the past there may have been some infighting among beastmen, or some of them went feral (maybe humans orchestrated this too?) and humans capitalized on this and massacred them. In other words, this whole "going feral" thing may be rare case or result of some bio-weapons; not because beastmen are doomed to go feral if left together + stress. Sylvasta end goal is likely to have medicine that takes and gives powers. This way they can control who they give medicine to. Monopoly on such medicine will make them super rich and powerful, as they give beast powers to loyal people only (obviously gonna be used by the military) |
