What a rush starting. it was disappointed. Starting should be clear or appealing that creates interest for the viewer to watch the show. But in this case starting was not clear and appealing to me.

We all know it didn't have that great of a start, there are other threads that have covered this.

Here are some threads that are discussing it, just make sure to check next time but yeah the first episode was bad. They delayed it last year so it was aired this year because the first draft was bad. So this is an improvement, that says something about how bad the first episode would've been last year.

The first half of the episode was iffy but by the second half I don't see the issue. It's also no huge stretch that they're going to use flashbacks to slowly ease out information during the characters initial journey. If anything I don't see how people weren't happy about a show throwing them into the action so early.

Granted I know literally nothing about the source material but it was fine.
