| Solid start so far, looking forward to seeing how it all plays out |
| Should've started this earlier, though well... unfortunately a day is just 24 hours. Interesting concept with fire fighters, and in all honesty even with the all battle-shounen exclusive, "I want to a hero" start, the episode felt solid, with the art and animation being the proper standout. Not much to say about characters this early, but atleast there wasn't anyone annoying. Also these girls are damn hot. Looking forward to binge these four cours. |
| This series has a very unique start, I have to say. Can't say I'm seeing how this series is gonna go, though. The start's not perfect either, but it seems interesting enough. I also like how Shinra has the condition of smiling out of nowhere, even if he's not even doing it intentionally.  |

| I've had this on my PTW for what feels like centuries at this point and I still have no idea why I even put it there. But regardless, I enjoyed the first episode. While MC's quirk is pretty silly, I somehow still managed to sympathize with him. I really enjoyed the OP as well :) |

| Like many people here, I decided to watch the anime after listening to the OP on Youtube. The Op's something else. This was a great first episode. There's still so much more to be explored in the story of this anime. I can't wait to see it!!! |
| Now THIS is how you do an opener. Backstory, introductions, first mission, character growth, conclusion. A full episode and with amazing animation to boot. This is how anime should be done. Neither rushed nor dragged on with meaningless banter. |

| wow this was so boring, the characters were all unappealing, the girls aren't cute, it's only flames everywhere and a bunch of dudes in matching firefighter costumes acting all tough and manly I've been told this has jokes and lots of fanservice, so far I haven't seen either.. I'll try to give this a couple more episodes also, the spontaneous combustion mystery was solved by south park back in 1999, someone's behind the times |
| Happy new year! Every year I have the habit of watching an anime I've never watched before, Fire Force was one of the ones chosen to start my year of 2025. I'm a fan of David Productions I think all of us here love David Productions for all the passion they gave to JoJo's Let's start the year! Látom 🙏  |

| The opening is excellent and the lore that people are just spontaneously combusting and turning into fire monsters is really interesting. I hope Shinra gains a reason to genuinely smile over the course of this season. |

| Oh man it feels so good to be watching Fire Force again, this is my first time rewatching it since my original weekly viewing of it back in the incredibly nostalgic summer of 2019, I had no mobile phone back then because I broke it right after graduating high school, and that was my primary way of viewing anime for a long time so I remember watching everything on a laptop instead, wouldn’t get a new phone until August, but right alongside me was that fantastic anime season with greats like this right here, Dr. Stone, Demon Slayer, Lord El-Melloi, Fruits Basket, Takagi-san, and the list goes on. And this was all right before I started college that year too, so the nostalgia is through the roof to say the least lol, especially when the iconic OP and ED pair of this first cour hit my eyes and ears again, all of Fire Force has fantastic choices in songs but there was something special about these original two, they’re just perfect. And uh… I kinda waited too long to start this rewatch lol, Season 3 is just a month away and I have four cours to watch before then, so for the sake of speed I will probably just be writing posts for the first and last episodes of each cour, I didn’t write anything on MAL back then so I feel bad not writing for it properly but time just isn’t on my side this time. But still, I’m super excited for this rewatch, this first episode was so good already, loved getting reintroduced to the good ol’ Fire Soldier gang again, I still love Shinra as an MC and the babes of Fire Force are as hot as ever (see what I did there), it’s gonna be a really good time. |
