| I was brought in here thanks to Genshin's Inazuma in the Realm of Tranquil Eternity piece but the characters in this anime are annoying and bullies are always either forgotten and not punished as is typical in anime. It's just 90% drama, 10% koto play. |

| Very nice first episode and definitely can't wait to see how it evolves. I like Chika but Takezou, doesn't seem as interesting for now, although I can already see the scene where Takezou's problem will happen, with him failing in the worst moment. There are a lot of posibilities on how this story can go since there are a good amount of characters to still be introduced. I expect the principal's story about Chika's grandfather to reveal something big, he wouldn't keep it for himself for now otherwise, lol. The studio itself doesn't look that promising, but honestly the OST throughout this episode was great. Also the OP sounds nice. |

| I like the animation and art. The music is fine, I don't usually have strong feelings about it. The characters are... also fine. Kurata seems like he's there for convenience to act as an audience surrogate and used to tell Chika's story. The plot's... It could've been done in a much better way. It's all a bit silly and I couldn't take it seriously. It's like it couldn't decide whether it wanted to be light-hearted and comedic or really serious. Comedy can be used to release tension and all that when it's done well but it definitely could've skipped it here, especially when it's just Chika becoming an angry chibi and using insults because he can't handle anything "soft". Lots of convenient or dumb things were happening for dramatic effect. Chika's grandfather collapsing the same day his workshop is trashed and then dying a few days later before he can be questioned by police, Chika being accused for the crime which doesn't make sense (how could his former buddies frame him? why would he want to trash the place he's living??), police saying "even if it wasn't you, you caused this caused this to happen"???, that one awful teacher acting like a thug and saying "who would believe anything you say anyway?!" with his proof just being that Chika was the only one at the scene and immediately jumping to wanting to expel him, not even asking the person who was attacked who would've mentioned the three bullies, the principal being friends with Chika's grandfather, Chika's grandfather being the one to start the exact same club, Chika's friend just happening to overhear the culprits and somehow making them turn themselves in. Oh right, and Chika's grandfather punching Chika across the face for kicking the koto after he told his grandfather to stop calling him a brat and saying he didn't want to understand the stupid koto. That's definitely an appropriate response to your grandson who's a middle schooler. Especially after coming home from a fight with 9 high schoolers and winning (which is also just ?? wtf). Chika's response is normal for a teenager who's rebelling. Kicking it wasn't appropriate obviously but it didn't even look like much of a kick. Hm, I wonder where Chika learnt to act out or resolve things with violence? There definitely should've been one point where we heard a koto being played. Maybe when Chika's grandfather showed him how to play. |

| Never heard of this anime until I saw it as an option for my AWC for this year, but I loved this first episode! I did not expect a delinquent aspect to this story. Kudo was the star of this episode! Kurata's initiative is cool too! |
