| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The facial movements were so realistic I really couldn't tell if it was legit CG or if this film was normal wuxia actors airbrushed to death. 'cause in some wuxia live action shows they do look airbrushed to death, like all of alternative ancient China had to share 1 pore. Qi Ling's character/actor was hilarious, he did a really good job. Even reading the synopsis before hand and watching the movie I still had no idea what was going on. Qi Ling is like forgotten for like the 2nd half of the film. |
| Well this was confusing af, like I couldn't figure out who was on whose side half the movie, especially since it seemed people changed sides at the flip of a hat. Wouldn't mind rewatching it to try and piece together the story better but the ending kind of makes me think twice about that. Like was it supposed to be an open ending or a "there's another movie coming" ending. At least the effects in the movie were really cool so I could enjoy the entire movie even if I was pretty lost on some parts. |
