| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So it's over. Emi is gone. What a sad yet beautiful ending. I know that this means that Mai will finally shine by herself, but fuck, I was so sad when Toppo went without saying goodbye. But I can't help feeling a little bit disappointed. I expected more from this conclusion. It could have gone even further! With maybe the start of a relationship between Mai and Shou, or Magical Art discovering that Mai is Emi, or even something concrete in the love story between Kokubunji and Yukiko. I'm satisfied by this show. There were some useless or boring episodes but when the anime took itself seriously, it became really interesting and even sometimes surprinsingly sad for a kids show. The art and the music were great and each episode had this pleasant 80s vibe that everyone loves. I'm going to miss Emi. 07/10 |
