| This arc is great and is possibly my favourite along with the Fumiya arc. The whole journey was engaging and didn't get lost at any stage like some of the other larger arcs. It's cool how it saves some things for the future too, such as how Fumiya and Akutsu were involved and what they may be planning going forward. By this point, it's also clear that Onizuka has become solidified as the main character with Ryuji getting less focus. It makes a lot of sense due to his relationship with Nagisa, but I would like to see him more involved. I also agree that it was frustrating that there was no explanation as to how Onizuka went that fast on that old bike. I wish some of the heroics would be toned down for him to be a more vulnerable and flawed character again. |
