cause they couldn't think of anything else to do with the original DigiDestined and then they just kinda pulled a Power Rangers.

Because it would be the same as pokemon if they didnt change it up a bit, its kinda like Gundam(havent seen it though) in that way and it makes it easy for the show to change with the times.

Because it has been in the hands of three different groups. The first two by one group, the second two by another, and the fifth one was by a thrid group years after the first four seasons. To me, and this may just be opinion, but the story lines of two and four went down hill towards the end, as if they didn't care so much.

Zero Two had a very climatic ending, it didn't need to continue.

The same characters over and over would be boring.

So they can invent more digimon. If the same digimon heros would appear, people would get bored because they know all their moves and such. But if you change digidestines and partners (or spirits), you will keep people watching. Why do you think Ash always gives away his pokemon before going on a new adventure?
