| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Uuf. This episode was not great. it's like the writers' understanding of New York was taken entirely from Urban Legends (Crocodiles in the sewers!) and old kinda racist stereotypes (Black people are lazy and only like playing Jazz music!) This isn't the worst depiction of New York I've seen in anime (that would fall to Mad Bull 34 - where its New York seems to have been taken entirely from bad knockoffs of The French Connection and Dirty Harry), but this is the most cringeworthy. |
