| Without a doubt, Akabane from GetBackers. He shows up out of nowhere whenever he sees fit. Has a very interesting voice, throws knives, background mostly unknown, treats Ginji as his pet project and loves making him uncomfortable. Finally he thrives on fighting and doesn't mind putting his life on the line. Simply put, he's awesome. :) |
| Akabane? He's one of my favorites.and he uses scalpels indeed;) Akabane is a dangerous and mysterious man who does things just for fun.A kind of hedonism I guess. Tyki Mikk from D.Gray-man somehow resembles Hisoka because he uses poker cards as well.The only difference is that he uses them for playing,not for attacking people.But besides this, he's a dangerous and notorious man with double personality.For these aspects,he reminds me of Hisoka. |

| Chouno, Koushaku from Busou Renkin shows some traits of Hisoka on the perverted side of his character lol. Hisoka truly is one of a kind though. |

| Sora from .Hack//SIGN. Similar personality, cunning, playful, devious, similar voice and manner of speaking. Main difference is Hisoka is more chill and Sora is ADHD/spastic. Hisoka is way cooler, though. |

| I think Hawk's Eye from Sailor Moon in terms of apperance. I'd even go further to claim that Togashi sensei inspired by him while designing Hisoka. (as you all may know both Sailor Moon and HxH's authors are married) I can say i started to watch '99 version Hisoka was the main reason back in 2009 cuz i thought that he really resembles Hawk's Eye. And when 2011 version came up Hisoka has been popular. |
