Uhhh, has anyone else noticed Matthew's grave says "Thomas" on it, not Matthew? It confused me quite a bit, I'm assuming that's an error?

Yeah and the date on it is weird 1813 to 1831, that'll make him a month shy from being 18?

Or did I miss some kind of side joke etc? This is suppose to be for ep 48 but I don't see it.

Oh and do I like this or hate it? Because I definitely don't like it cause he's freaking dead and it's rather sad, but it is a decent episode dedicated to him.

The penultimate decision and Anne made her choice. A respectable and emotional one that touched me. So the next episode will be the epilogue sort of. Can't wait.

Wow, this anime is the power of telling a story wholeheartedly. I'll never forget it and I will continue to watch more World Masterpiece Theater series.

Does anyone know what ailment Marilla had?

I initially thought she had a brain tumor that put pressure on her eyes and optic nerves.

Possibly glaucoma ... it shares the same symptoms of this eye disease that Marilla suffers from.

One more ep left and I would totally miss Anne and the Avonlea. All good things must come to an end but I will try to look for the novels to continue where the anime left off. I don't really want to part with the story yet.

This is a heavy and moody episode. Life circumstances can change so quickly, but it's encouraging to see Anne make the tough choice.
