What is Araragi really when he was revived using Yume-Watari?
| This was the reason that Gaen gave why Hachikuji did not come back alive. “I’m sorry to say that Hachikuji-chan’s body was cremated—ahaha, if she’d been buried, we’d be looking at a much more grotesque image right about now. A ghost.” If this does not make sense then Araragi returned as a human oddity (I just call it that because it is an oddity that completely mimics humans - no special skills whatsoever) rather than a normal human being. Remember, if this is possible, then you could bring to life anybody as long as they are not cremated. Also note that Araragi's remains dispersed into the air in Koyomimonogatari. Meaning there is no physical body waiting for him when he returned from hell. My guess is that he returned from hell as a GHOST then he was been revived using the Yume-Watari, which is a sword that revives ODDITIES (not HUMANS), as a human oddity. Gaen's reason just does not make any sense, she did mention why Hachikuji is still a ghost but she did not mention why Araragi is alive. In my opinion a rotten corpse is better than a vaporized body wherever you look at it and yet Araragi has a completely unharmed body. So my choice is that he is a HUMAN ODDITY. An oddity whose existence is based on what people around him think he is. As long as someone remembers him, he will exist. He has more than enough people to strengthen his existence. |

| [spoiler] After his dead araragis and shinobus link got severed so after he was revived he became human again. I don't want to spoil to much but in the end gaen repaired that link so he became a vampire hybrid again [/ spoiler] |
