Dyed-hair mains never work in LA adaptations, especially when combined with a more serious personality. You end up with a character interpretation that just comes over as too childish compared to the source material. That said I'm still going to give it a shot (the LA adaptation that is). Somebody wanting to steal the Eifel tower through a ruse, as they couldn't physically, then placing the 'victim' inside of it to make it seem it was stolen. It must be a reference to another series, the whole arc felt off anyway. I'm really curious now as to what series it was (probably not even anime/manga), I also can't remember for the life of me. I think there was a slightly more simple physical Eifel tower-stealing plot in Totally spies though, but that's not what I was referring too (>_<) |
