I once heard that Crona was a girl in the manga and a guy in the anime, but they really never gave Crona a sex. I don't think it was a matter of making a "non-binary" character though. I think it's just a running joke that Crona's sex is unknown since the anime brought it up once or twice and Crona really looks like both. |
