Well...that was certainly one of the most random of the Lupin movies I've seen. You get a guy dancing in the shower, putting on nail polish, an old man hugging a doll, and a girl even gets her shirt ripped off in the first 6 minutes! Though the many stills and 3x replay of some scenes was really annoying after a while. I will never understand why directors do that.

The movie was at least fun to watch even if Goemon, once again without his precious Zantetsuken, was lame & somewhat out of character. Damn people, stop taking away his sword D:<

I thought it was actually a very entertaining watch.
I mean, you get a sexy clerk's top ripped off in the beginning only to find that she wears no bra and later on you see a royal bra being pressed upon at the nipple area.

That Rasputin sure is like his grandfather though, creepy as fuck and impervious to death; I think they did a really good job modeling him.

Still, the special had a fun end even when Goemon was so pitiful.

Pretty decent, but Judy's last-minute connection with Goemon is a bit of a bump in the story.

Having the villain molest the heroine to establish him as a bad guy is pretty common, but here it fits in with Rasputin's delight in jamming his finger into the bodies of people he is manipulating. He seems like a rapist the entire movie. Suddenly taking his finger habit from the strange and disgusting to the deadly when he attacks the gangsters was also a neat turn.

This is my first time seeing this one, and well, it had its moments. "Rasputon" was really creepy though, especially his, well, "intrusive" fingers. And I didn't like the way he forced Goemon to work for him by holding the Zantetsuken hostage. In the end he didn't do anything for him, but it was still annoying.

There were some nice twists too, like Fujiko being betrayed after betraying, and one of the two guys Rasputon hired, only to kill after they were no longer useful, surving his attack to exact revenge for his partner. But unfortunately he failed. I didn't like the conclusion all that much, and Judy wasn't really all that compelling either. But nice.

The plot was fairly predictable yet decently executed and enjoyable enough to watch, but Rasputin was a memorable and creepy villain.

Zenigata didn't do much this time around, which from my observation is usually a clue of mediocre to bad writing, Judy was a mediocre guest star character and the animation felt low-effort this time around.

Still, I was entertained for 90 minutes and it was coherent, which can't be said about all Lupin III movies. 6,5/10

The pacing felt a bit strange at times, there are more triple takes here than in any other Dezaki's Lupin, from my impressions.

Rasputon's finger techniques were hilarious though
