| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Like the synopsis was saying ("coming-of-age"), a story about a young boy seeking power to protect its people (since he is a daimyô). Here, it relies on the "pact with the devil" idea. Since I couldn't grasp the japanese except for the very simple parts, could someone explain to me what are those eyes the Dragon God delivers to him in exchange of his soul ? (obviously it is a poon on his nickname but apart from that?) I suppose the french blonde, Claude, is a way to demonstrate the real Date Masamune's relations with foreigners. Also, who is the mysterious warrior who appears suddenly at the end of the ONA? Sympathetic but nothing notable here. Though it is nice to see another original project from GAINAX.
