| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Lol Aphrodite. Wow, even in this series, the monsters (goblins) are introduced first. I've read tons of series like this before where they pop up from the beginning. Why do I also get a Pokemon vibe? I'm disappointed by the length of the chapter per words in this series. Otherwise, going to read this to see how far they intend to stretch the idea of monster capturing. |

| I thought of it as only so so. even though the story itself isnt really that uninteresting i found it a bother that the story itself developt in a sterotypish way. even though it kinda tried to go into a konosuba direction as it seems to me, it simply fails to accomplish the comedic value konosuba has and replaces it with comedy that is so overused and lets one facepalm that at least to me it felt like an insult to ones intellect. it felt like it trys to cash in on the typical harem rom com dynamic. for example i rolled my eyes so hard at when the tsundere personality of D takes stage. It is simply way too easy to persuate her too stuff, even if you say its part of her character. She is one of the 12 gods of the olympus for crying out loud. she should be have at least some experience with getting backstabbed because of her own naivity. but oh well i wouldnt compledly shit talk it since it indeed has potential and perhaps it will surprise one positively in the future who knows. So far i would only be describing this novel as something you pass your time with without having a complead bad time, but its definetly no masterpiece and nothing that i expect too much off. |
