| Some of my favorites that no one mentioned: Nakamura Kenji (Mononoke, Kuuchuu Buranko, Tsuritama, Gatchaman Crowds) Mizushima Seiji (Oh! Edo Rocket, FMA); he's the model for the director in Shirobako Mizushima Tsutomu (Shirobako, Yondesmasu yo, Azazel-san, xxxHolic, Hare+Guu) - often confused with Seiji though no relation Iso Matsuo (Dennou Coil) - he left the industry soon thereafter, in disgust I suspect, but has a few recent credits Kamiyama Kenji (Seirei no Moribito, Higashi no Eden, GitS) I have a few others that I admire for specific works like Kazuki Akane (Noein), Tachikawa Yuzuru (Death Parade), Asaka Morio (Chihayafuru, Aoi Bungaku), Kojima Masayuki (Monster, Abenobashi Mahou Shoutengai), and Nakamura Ryosuke (Mouryou no Hako, Aoi Bungaku). |
