I reread the series tonight (so, I read this story twice now). I have similar feelings compared to the first time I read it, and this time, I paid more attention to details.
I'm curious about what others saw that was weird about this series?
I'm glad that this was a healthy, consensual story that incorporated BDSM. There was sexual freedom when all six friends had fun and explored together. There was comedy too, like in this chapter when poor Randy had to watch everyone have sex because his name did not appear when they pulled out cards LOL. And Randy got his mother's quote (“Life is like a game. However low you fall, as long as you recover quickly, you’ll be okay.”) wrong when he got back to football after taking a break, and he said "A game is like sex." xDD I would be amazed if Randy's mother did not know her son was having sex with his lover (maybe Randy’s family doesn’t even know he’s living with Phil? ;/) while they were on the phone for over an hour.
When Marlon penetrated Doug this chapter, it was nice to see the couple take a different approach and enjoyed themselves. Through their friends' encouragement, we know that Marlon doesn't need to only get spanked and play with bondage for him to get hard. It shows that even after a couple is engaged, there can still be room to explore and treasure each other even more. Meanwhile, Charlie is so expressive and Lewis seems very accepting, so they were the stable couple throughout the series. |
