| @Moniisek Thank you! Looking back at the things I posted is so embarrassing. Because of you, I went back to read this chapter. Ah...it is so good. This is also my favorite chapter too. Doesn't need a fancy story or unique characters, just a meaningful story that people can relate to. |
| @Yoake whyy embarrassing? it's not, don't worry! haha I particularly enjoyed the storytelling in this one. for example: this is just great. The way she's not in the picture, there's a balcony, could be any balcony, seems to me that she herself is unsure about what she actually wants. Is it "I prefer the standard" or "People see me as someone who prefers the standard." I'm not sure how to put it but my impression of the message of this chapter was that ultimately the only thing that's stopping people from doing what they want is in their head. He could've just quit the job, found another one and live elsewhere, be happier with her. Yet it's understandable why he wouldn't do that, especially if it was hard to get it in the first place. sorry this turned out to be so long : ( |
| @Moniisek Because! Because it is like looking back at the past me who is different from the current me! Oooooh, that's an interesting way to look at it. I was looking at the story from her perspective instead of the guy. She always wanted to change but wasn't sure on how to change. Or maybe, she needed that extra push to change. Long discussions are good! It shows that you cared about this enough to put in the effort. |
| @Yoake oh yeah, I know what you mean. Looking at some things I wrote is embarrassing sometimes. But, relax, other people won't see it as such! It's not that bad. At least we know there's some sort of progress... hopefully, haha. I think both the girl and her partner have essentially the same problem, so their perspectives are going to be similar. |
