Am i the only one who disappointed ? I agree with you about the broccoli! I quite like the quirky, fantastical idea of having a broccoli forest, and it does sum up the slightly off-kilter tone of this show. It's certainly something a bit different. However, I'm still not totally won over by it. The CGI is badly out of place, and the action scenes seem forced (as does Lag's massive hidden power). What I do enjoy is the humour, and the wonderment at what is clearly an imaginatively designed, and beautiful world, populated by endearing and cute characters. Oh yes ... and Niche rocks xD 4/5 |

| Okay, I admit, the 3D Gaichuu are starting to bug me a tiny bit. But this series is still waaaay too awesome to care! x'D I love Niche! I already did, fron reading the manga so far, but still. This is how far I got with the manga, so from now on, I have no idea what will happen. Looks like a new character will be introduced next epi. I WANT GAUCHE. |

| Wow, it got really dark this episode. As soon as I saw that circus tent it felt creepy. I hate circus tents and the circus. God the animation is really terrible, but the art looks interesting, like the broccoli forest was kind of cool. The creatures are all ugly and kind of dumb; but when the cgi ant comes out it all goes to hell. I have seen CGI done good and bad in all kinds of anime. Here it is especially bad, but integrated better than you'd expect. The way the monster got bright and collapsed into a 2D wave was like sakuga. I like how it shows both Lag and Nichi are kind of similar, they have special powers. I went awwwwww when she licked his wounded face after seeing his last memory was of her. I would have loved it if that creature that liked Nichi would have been a better design. This anime is weird but it has captivated me. |
