| Another very chaotic ending, didn't make a lot of sense imo. Her mother just stayed away and almost killed her daughter because... she wanted to "leave it to them"? Okay... Didn't enjoy the mix of seriousness and goofiness in this a whole lot, a lot of random stuff happened in these 12 episodes. Characters were fun though, but that's not enough to make me really invested in this show. 5/10 |
| I can't believe this show is over 10 years old!?! I really enjoyed this anime and do not know why it took me so long to pick it up? I had a lot of good laughs throughout this show, especially around Kasmui and the Medusa witches. It's story and animation are better than anime you get nowadays, which blows my mind. Regarding the last episode, I was kinda hoping for some more lore behind Takamyia and Kargi, but only got a tiny taste of their past. Also, didn't like how much of a wuss Takamyia was in the end here but I was more than happy to see Evermillion (coolest character design I've seen in a while). I would say I'm keen for a second season....but this did come out in 2014 and by 2025 there is no sign of one. So in that case I might give the manga a read, unless the show already concludes where the manga does. |
