I'm not sure if there was quite as much skepticism for the casting on this one compared to most other big name anime series that got the live-action movie treatment in recent memory, but that doesn't make this any less amazing. Boy, do the 3 leads look exactly like their characters or what?

Suda Masaki as Shinpachi Shimura
Hashimoto Kanna as Kagura
