We all know how scary a first date can be. No matter how much you prepare it can still go very wrong. And let us not forget how we pray that the person we are going on a date with turns out to be normal. Well, when Issei Hyodo went on a date it turned out to be everything except normal. Issei actually got himself killed. In real life that would be a real bummer but in High School DxD, for Issei, death just meant a new beginning. And so that’s how we are introduced to the fantastical world of High School DxD, a world full of action and comedy and filled with angels, fallen angels and devils. If you think that this series written by Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrated by Miyama-Zero produced some awesome figure collectibles you would be so right. Here are just some of our picks for this amazing show!
5. High School D x D BorN A+ Rias Gremory Fledge Vacation. 1/6 Figure
We are starting our list with a figure of the show's main heroine Rias Gremory. This figure comes to us from A+. Rias was sculpted by Ryuusuke and she is a 1/6 scale, 30 cm (11.7 inches) tall, PVC and ABS figure. Rias comes with a base, wings and a special swimsuit. Her (castoff) swimsuit is made from silicone and is removable. Yep removable. A+ released this figure in June 2016, and you can get it for only 14,000 yen (~125 US dollars).
4. High School DxD FREEing Toujou Koneko Bunny Ver. Figure
On our number 4 spot we have a figure from FREEing that was released in June 2016. FREEing released this special bunny version of High School DxD’s Toujou Koneko that shows her in a rather alluring pose and wearing a playboy inspired bunny suit. Toujou is a 1/4 scale, 21.5 cm (8.38 inches) tall figure. There is no way this ABS and PVC will not make an eye-catching addition to any collection! It is also worth mentioning that Hell-Cat’s tights are made from real fabric for a more realistic appearance. Get her for approximately 15,905 yen (~154 US dollars).
3. High School DxD Griffon Rias Gremory Lingerie Version Figure
We are continuing the list with yet another figure of the Crimson-Haired Ruin Princess, Rias Gremory herself. This time we have a figure from the Griffon Enterprises and their R-line. Griffon released this figure of Rias, sculpted by the talented Team Genesis, in January 2015. This PVC figure depicts Rias looking amazingly seductive putting on her black stocking. This 1/7 scale figure is 23 cm (8.97 inches) tall. You should also know that this figure is designed for mature audiences because her lingerie is castoff so you can pose Rias in her birthday suit. This Rias figure can brighten up your collection for about 15,905 yen (~154 US dollars).
2. High School DxD FREEing Rias Gremory Bunny Ver. Figure
We are continuing our list with an amazing Bunny suit version of High School DxD’s beautiful leading lady. This time from FREEing comes a figure of Rias Gremory looking stunning in her playboy bunny based suit. This 1/4 scale Rias figure is 32 cm (12.48 inches) tall. A size worthy of such an amazing figure that is made from PVC and ABS. Also, her tights are made from real fabric and give her even more tempting look. FREEing released this figure in May 2016. Own it for just about 18,450 yen (~176 US dollars).
1. High School DxD FREEing Rias Gremory 1/8 Figure
And so here we are to show you the figure to rule all other figures. This week our top spot belongs, like most of the spots on our list, to Rias of clan Gremory. FREEing released this specific figure in May 2013. Rias is depicted with her head tilted to the side. She is in a provocative pose and she sports a seductive expression on her face. The figure was sculpted by D-zou (diskvision) and it is made from PVC. This 1/8 scale pre-painted figure is 13 cm (5.07 inches) tall. She also comes with an alternative part that shows her bosom. Get it for 23,999 yen (~232 US dollars).
