Ah well that answers my question to come. I've been putting it off for about two years and I wasn't sure if I should actually get to watching already (I think I'll wait haha). YMS likes it so I should have assumed it to be quite pretentious (Lars von Trier is one of his favourite directors ffs). |

Either a hit or miss for me. I highly suggest The Act of Killing. It's about the killings of Indonesian accused communists. It's almost 3 hours long which is a little demotivating but it's worth it. 8.2/10 IMDb 95% Rotten Tomatoes 89% Metacritic |

You've seen GOTH, shipgirls?ZOO was also adapted into a movie... kinda. It wasn't very good, though. I wish they would make a live-action movie of Black Fairy Tale. It's gruesome, but my favorite of Otsuichi's short stories. Which are basically everything he's written that's been translated but GOTH. xD |
