A lot of good stuff airing this season.Orange - Seems like a very typical is a shoujo but has a cool sci-fi premise where the main character gets a letter from her future self about wanting to erase all her future regrets. 91 Days - Is a love letter to American mobster movies. Mob Psycho 100 - Is from ONE the same guy who wrote One Punch Man. And this is probably my favorite anime this season. I was actually kind of lukewarm on OPM but this series really has some great emotional beats, I think the writing is much better, and the themes come through better. The animation is phenomenal, and they do a lot of neat and cool stuff with it. Re:Zero - I don't want to say to much because this one is to easy to spoil some cool stuff with it. But I wasn't watching this until we watched it at anime club a couple of weeks ago and I was kind of blown away. Way, way better then I expected. But lets say it is a spirited away to a fantasy land story that has a really great twist to make it a really cool story. |

Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu is a josei worthy of being on this list. Ping Pong is also a great seinen to add as well. Hopefully the relations gets updated soon! |

Interesting. ComiPedia has Dengeki Daioh as both a shounen And seinen magazine. |

The wikipedia page for Dengeki Diaoh(the magazine Azumanga and Ichigo ran in) says it's a shounen magazine. Aria was serialized in a shounen though and Blood +'s manga and novel were based off of the anime and even then were serialized in shounen magazines it looks like. And that's just the ones that stuck out to me from the top of the list. |
