@mooncrypt thanks! |

@GuyWRunningShirt I wouldn't say anime is the best way to start into dementia and surrealism, though some of my favorite surreal titles are anime/manga. But I'll recc you Serial Experiments Lain since it's very popular, and a good starter. I would previously advise you Texhnolyze and Boogiepop Phantom are sorta similar but far better than Lain IMO, though I love them all. But somehow, Lain is easier to digest. |

@mooncrypt honestly I haven't watched any yet, I join the club because I think the concept is cool but I didn't know where to start |
Kraanerg | Nov 11, 2017 12:38 PM
@GuyWRunningShirt Of course, tell me your favorite non-anime surreal/avantgarde/trippy experiences and I'll recc you where to start. You can check the short anime movie [youtube] in my profile page bio, it's beautiful. |

Hey, I have just recently gotten into surreality (if that's a word) in anime, does anyone have any suggestions? |
Kraanerg | Oct 16, 2017 8:46 AM
@TwinBee20 @MonokuroKinema let's invite more people from our friendlist. Soon I'll be giving a glance at my animelist looking for more anime suggestions to the club. What about adding manga titles? |
TwinBee20 | Oct 9, 2017 9:59 PM
Yeah, it's a bit of a shame this group isn't more active. |
MonokuroKinema | Nov 9, 2016 12:40 AM
I added Iblard and Chirico from the suggestions thread. If anyone has any ideas to bring life to the club, you're welcome to share :) |
Half_Bl00d | Oct 21, 2016 11:30 AM
If only the club was active :/ |
Aldones | Oct 21, 2016 11:27 AM

Ah, I must be an idiot. Thank you. The films sound fascinating. I wish I could watch them. |
MonokuroKinema | Apr 1, 2014 12:33 PM
If you click on "see all" you can read the whole conversation and find a review about these shorts we're talking about. |
ejala | Mar 29, 2014 9:55 PM
I've missed something. What are we getting links to? Obscure anime? I'd like to watch, maybe. |
