Preliminary Spoiler
Feb 24, 2011
Ahh, I really really did love Yumeiro Patissiere but when I watched Yumeiro Patissiere Professional, I was a little sad.

Partly because

A) It ended so soon
B) I don't really get the storyline - so basically they were all just thinking of ideas how to open up their shop and all
C) They didn't show how the romance between **SPOILER** Kashino and Ichigo started **END OF SPOILER** That makes me really annoyed and I was like, "What?? When??" They should have do it slowly how Ichigo started to reciprocate her feelings for Kashino.

I'm sorry in advance if I led out any spoilers...

Story: It was so-so. I wasn't ...

Preliminary (12/13 eps)
I'm not very good with reviews, but. . . here we go.
Yumeiro Patissiere Professional is short. The first season had 50 episodes, but this season is the final season. Savour it while you can. In YPP, the art is very beautiful, they've added more style. Though, Hanabusa and Andou's hairstyles both are very. . . how shall I put this strange. Many things are being repeated from the first season into this season. For Example, the Heiress's laughter. I mentally go nuts when she laughs. It's beyond annoying, but other than that, there's one episode left. And I've come to realize that I've felt like ...

Where to begin with this? I'm not quite sure, but as an immense fanatic to Yumeiro Patissiere, I have to admit I was quite disappointed by this series. Not that it was bad. No. It's just not as memorable as the first season.

By far, I think that this majors specifically from the fact that the first season is 50 episodes. When they announced the second season, I was ready for another 50 episodes. Is that what we got? No. In fact, we didn't even get 26. It was the meager number of 13. I mean, at the end I was screaming, waiting for a preview ...

its a nice anime about baking and stuff, but it's got some issues, especially in the second season. Like, sometimes it feels extreamly slow cause of filler episodes that don't do much for the story. Some characters, like Ichigo who was a typical shoujo mc who sucks at everything and can only eat does get somewhat better, and can i mention Henri-sensei who is this master baker, he is supposed to be mysterious and elusive instead it comes off as creepy until you know his motivations but anyway others don't change much and remain 1d and the plot can be kinda predictable. ...

Mixed Feelings
I watched this anime and it's predecessor when it first came out, and I decided it would be better to review this once I got a bit older, and started to see things differently. A great decision if you ask me. You'll see why.

Story: Ichigo is 16 now, and is participating in this sweet shop project thing with her new squad , because the others decided to leave and pursue their dreams, and since I'm getting bored, I'll stop here. What I remember absolutely hating about this season is how everything changed so fast. The disappointment I felt was indescribable. I hated how that in ...

First of all I am kinda disappointed with Yumeiro Patissiere Pro. Even though the atwork improved quite a lot (Kashino becomes much more cool!), i still think the first season is better because i think the plot is more clear and the story is more exciting, like u're waiting what'll come next?

The story in the second season is kinda boring and it does not leave many impression in me. The story just revolve around the cake business and stuffs. They does not even include any school life except for episode 1 (that too so little).
It seems like the story is divided into parts which are ...

Yumeiro Patissiere SP Professional was an alright anime for me. I prefered the first season way more. The second one is more about romance and the development of Kashino and Ichigo! Thats probably the only reason why i kept watching it is because i think that they're super cute together!! ^^ But what disappointed me was that there wasnt much baking, inspirations, and i felt that the writers or directors of this anime was just making it while it was going..! (sorry if that confused you, but i dont knwo how to word it..) I also wished they had more scenes of Hanabusa and Andoh! ...

Preliminary (1/13 eps)
Okay, this is my first ever review. Here goes:
I enjoyed the first series so much, that I would actually spend half of the night in my room, watching at the least five episodes. I was totally addicted, and to find out there was more to come was great!

Yumeiro Patissiere Professional wasn't a bitter disappointment. I enjoyed it NEARLY as much as the first one. But when I found out there were only 13 episodes I got so frustrated I started screaming into my pillow. But I was happy when -SPOILER- the Ichigo X Kashino ship came alive!-SPOILER END- but I was still pretty angry that ...

First review; sorry if it's a little all over the place.

Aside from a little light romance, don't expect anything particularly new in this second season. I considered it basically as bonus material for those of us who really enjoyed season 1.

I liked that you could see a difference in the characters right away; they had gotten taller, a little more adult in appearance. Or in Satsuki's case, a great deal more flamboyant in appearance.

Dear Miya is back and more obnoxious than ever. What, you didn't think was possible? Think again.

The new opening song... I liked it, but was a very definite ...

Yume-iro Pâtissière SP Professional is not bad, but not as good as season one.

On paper, the story is pretty interesting. It covers the business-side of being a pâtissière and how good marketing and business management are just as important as being talented at making sweets. That being said, the execution isn't exactly worthwhile. To start, the show glossed over the business side of things so much that I struggled to not break my suspension of disbelief. Why would a professional business man allow--not to mention ask sixteen-year-olds to run their own businesses? If they are interning under a professional, it might make more sense but ...
