Mata desu! Again, collaboration-work from Conan en Kaitou Kid! Sugeeee! Kid made announcement that he's going to steal a jewelry called "Artemis no namida (Artemis's tears)" belongs to a hotel-owner in a certain island; Tsugeshima (Tsuge island). Of course, Inspector Nakamori is on the spot too. Conan, Ran, and Detective Boys taken by Sonoko to that hotel by coincidence. Kid got the jewelry & run succesfully, leaving Conan behind who noticed a strange reactions from the jewelry-owner. So Kid has to face the Detective Boys who mistaken him as Kudo Shinichi, and asked him to join them to catch Kid... that is himself hahahha

Mixed Feelings
This one is almost good. The hook is that Kaito Kid gets mistaken for Shinichi and hangs out with the Detective Boys for a little while. It's a dynamic we don't see much from Kid, so this is a good watch for his fans. I wouldn't recommend it in general, though.

There's not really a mystery or a heist so much as there's a framing device for the mistaken identity, and there's no explanation at all as to why the Detective Boys are where they are. So they just end up in a dangerous situation with Kid for very little reason, and it is resolved with ...
