Kido is a private detective. One day, he receives a job offer. It is just to guard his client. He once tries to refuse it, but Mei, Kido's partner, tells him to accept it. Kido reluctantly accepts the offer and visits the client's house. There lives Ayano, a daughter of the client, Shibata, a butler, Imada, a janitor, Nozomi, a live-in maid, and Kaoru, Ayano's home tutor. Kido asks Shibata what's his job, but he just gives a vague answer. He doesn't know what to do, but he gradually gets to know the secret of the family....
After the the first series of Genmukan, otakus all around the world couldn't get enough of one character in particular: Nozomi the maid. Beautiful, sweet, and obedient, she fulfilled every maid fantasy an otaku could dream of and Shinshou Genmukan delivered just that: More Nozomi!
Many mistakenly think Shinshou Genmukan is an alternate telling of the original Genmukan series. It isn't. It's the epilogue and takes place after the incidents of first series Genmukan, so you should watch the first series in order to follow the events of Shinshou Genmukan. Though there are some minor deviations from the original story, SG delivers an arc that includes
adventure, mystery, and closure to the original; not the mention plenty of good sex scenes, guilt free, I might add. There is yuri, bondage, dildo play, masturbation, gang bangs, orgies, double penetration, and even triple penetration, but most importantly one on one love making and no rape. Yup, no guilt fapping to this one gentleman.
One thing I like about Tony Taka's art work is that the characters are beautiful. Though, I must admit, the art in SG isn't as great as the original, but still, it's plenty of eye candy. The animation is good. There are no repeating frames and taken from good angles. They didn't cut any corners making this.
So why did I give this one a 10? It's the characters. No, there's not much character development nor is there much depth to any of them, but they are likable, even lovable. I believe a good hentai, archetype is important. Each character in SG is a very well thought out archetype that hits the spot of the otaku psyche. There's Satoru, the strong male protagonist. He's cool; doesn't talk too much but when he does, he says the right things. He's a real ladies man. Nobody blames him for sleeping with... well, all the women. He's the hero with a harem that saves the day. Then there are the four female archetypes. There's a klutzy secretary with glasses, a dominant OL (office lady) type who happens to be a nymphomaniac, a loli ojousama, and most importantly: Nozomi the sweet lovable maid.
Story; yes. Great characters; check. Beautiful Art; yup. Prolonged sex scenes with good animation, oh yeah. Shinshou Genmukan is a great hentai!
