New Interest Stack
Interest StacksThese are the best works anime can offer. These anime remind me of the days where it wasn't all fan service and trope after trope. Where the characters have real depth and the story wasn't one layer. 50 different series from 50 different years. While most of these are my favorites from year to year, I have included some I thought should get a bit more of a spotlight on. It actually took me a lot longer to put this list together than I thought it would, some years had a lot of good picks and it was hard to pick out either a favorite or one that should be highlighted. Movies & Series Works related to Hayao Miyazaki's Carreer. These pieces have a harmony, uniqueness or just an x-factor to their overall aesthetic presence, to include music/sound design. A compilation of anime that began airing during the month of March. A fictional world which feels alive and its circumstances are properly explained. Details about the citizens, the cities, the food, the monsters. Everything has a background and a meaning in its existence. The 'rules' and regulations and even the social status of the world are thoroughly explained. A world where you can immerse yourself in. Some animes that I consider serious and with a final message. Organized by the Japan Anime Festival Executive Committee, their members being the editors-in-chief of five major anime magazines, which were Animedia, The Anime, My Anime, Monthly OUT, and Animeck (Animage did not participate, as they had own Anime Awards). The main choices were decided by industry insiders and artistic creators (people like Osamu Tezuka), with the Fan Awards being self-explanatory. [Spoiler Alert for only the original Space Battleship Yamato] In conjuntion with the official award by the Reader's choice, the magazine's editors made public their own choices for many years, until 2014. One of the oldest anime magazines in Japan, being devoted to animation and comics aimed at a general public and not for professionals, with the first issue being released in May 1978. The Anime Grand Prix started in 1979, with the first prize being announced at the issue of 1980 January. The results for most of the awards are made public in either May or June issues. Shows from different genres, all featuring a female protagonist and/or a mostly female cast doing their thing. Hi everybody! I have prepared a good list for beginners. The ranking is mixed. First ten anime is most legendary anime. I think everyone should watch it. Don't worry it's not my favorite 10. I'd only say there are a couple here where it is a spoiler to know, so they will be at the end of the list. Let me know if you think I should change the stack to have a spoiler warning. But I don't think it's necessary. These are films that may appeal to an otaku with an ENFJ or INFJ-type personality. Anime that focuses on the importance of the natural world on its own terms and/or the ramifications of negligent human interactions with the world. |
