It is always great to see a new animation done in good old stop-motion technique. Especially when its quality is really high, and the concept itself feels fresh. HIDARI (Pilot Film) is that kind of animated project.
Hidari Pilot Film's length is short, as you'd expect from a pilot movie. Yet, it manages to tell a nice story involving its main character, Jingoro Hidari, a legendary Japanese craftsman from the Edo period.
