Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 3rd Season

The first four episodes are just stuck behind that damn table. For episode 5, the table is only going to be changed; this is what weakens the narrative of the story. A good anime should maintain quality from start to finish, making each episode memorable. This season, however, the anime is a disaster. Maybe it will improve from episode 8 onwards. I don't recommend watching it now unless you have nothing else to watch, especially since only episode 4 has aired.
From what I've watched so far, it feels more like listening to a podcast or reading a newspaper, without any significant events. You could easily ... start from episode 5 without missing much of the story. It's quite hilarious when Rimuru orders each character with the same command, and this goes on for a whole minute. It could be more enjoyable if this dialogue were interspersed with flashbacks or different facial expressions to make the conversation more bearable.

The view that 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime' is a boring addition to this Spring's anime lineup might be missing the point. This series, known for its slower pace, prioritizes world-building and character development, which have been its strengths since Season 1. We're just three episodes in, and already, the consistent animation quality and solid voice acting are shaping up to enhance the experience.

If you've enjoyed the previous seasons, this one won't disappoint. It’s not just about visual appeal; it sets the stage for a story that unfolds through thoughtful diplomatic choices and deep community and world-building.

The series may start without high-stakes ... conflict, but it promises to build up and deepen over time. For those who appreciate a show with depth and measured storytelling, this anime is worth continuing, especially if you're invested in its world and characters. It offers a thoughtful exploration of how leadership and society can evolve in a fantastical setting, which is exactly what this anime is about. No negative surprises so far.

I recommend sticking with it, especially if you're a fan of characters like Diablo. And for those whose brains are perhaps a bit fatigued and fried by the constant dopamine releases from faster-paced shows, give it a try anyway. You might get rewarded in the long run. For people who are getting annoyed by those fast-paced shows, this season might be refreshing to you.

I feel like the people working on this thought: "Hmmm, how can we make this the most boring show this Spring season when we have to compete with Spice and Wolf?, we don't know but will try our best"

The art, the animation and voice acting are all fine and good, but the storytelling is just boring, 3 episodes in and there is nothing to follow, no setups, no conflict and no action. it's just jumping from one scene to another showing what characters are doing.

I feel like I'm invested and can't drop it entirely, but will wait for it to be completed and watch is ... at x2 speed to just get it overwith.

if you're not invested in the series, I don't recommend it.

I first want to mention that a lot of anime in general is made to sell, but not made to be remembered very fondly, critically, or seen to break what can be accomplished in the genre. Basically just made to cheat people out of money. Tensura is exactly on of these series.

The rotten tomatoes score for this movie shows you how the anime community can no longer critically analyze medium but blindly consume. Tensura has one of the worst rotten tomatoes critics score I have ever seen and an extremely poor performing box office despite shown in every theatre. FYI, movie critics are usually nicer ... on anime. Yet we are supposed to treat this series as the equivalent of a citizen kane. Anyone saying this is some sort of masterpiece really needs to review high school literature classes.

Tensura has become the junk food of anime. It looks tastes good at the beginning, but gets bad when you leave it out. It is easy to produce, and full of just bad stuff. It makes a lot of money, but is bad for you.

Isekai has become nothing but a unique hook to keep you in the beginning. Than suck the viewer in with abysmal writing as the show gets worse and worse. Similiar to the CW.



This series has the all the ingredient of a poorly structured show. Predictable plot, bad pacing, deus ex machine moments, pointless talk, no plot build up, no emotional moments.

Rimuru is one of the worst written anime characters in existence. He literally serves as nothing but a sex doll for big breasted female milfs or scantily clad lolis. He lost all substance in season 1. But he looks like a girl that is okay. He faces no hardship. He oneshots all of his opponents. Just an extremely overpowered. All the characters treat this guy as he is jesus.

Milim and Shuna are appalling one dimensional characters with next to no substance and history. Aside from fighting.

The villains are are appalling one dimensional. They come, get one shotted, you forget about them. They don't have substance or backstory that connects with the others. This pretty much happens throughout the light novels.

This series recklessly introduces a dozen or so characters, gets rid a chunk of them; lazy writing at its finest.

The episodes are extremely dragged out with a lot of yapping leading to nothing and no major part. Some episodes only involve characters talking. But the dialogue isn't witty, thought out, meaningful. So it is just people yapping; it is just filler. There may be a fight but it lasts pretty short throughout a season and has people yapping for the rest of it. These episodes make the cw shows feel like shakespeare. You can pretty much watch this show in the background while you play around on your phone.

The humor is extremely forced. It isn't good verbal humor nor situational humor. It is not even edgy humor. They just act silly for the sake of trying to make you laugh which never works.

The plot pretty much turns into nothing more than a hack and slash battle rpg.

I have saved you your hard earned time from trying to invest yourself in the series. It is a series that pretty much continues to get worse and worse as time passes. Might as well go play final fantasy if you want to immerse yourself in the fantasy experience.

Slime is back for another season after the conclusion of last seasons arc, so far it is slow, but in a good way. We continue where the anime left off, as well as also see the influence of our beloved slime unfold through different perspectives of factions. Slime season 3 begins again with exposition wrapping up the last arc, and setting up the next.

A good amount of people already hate this season because its not 24/7 action, which doesn't make any sense because the build up of last arc JUST ended. This was never a show about sole action battles, and if you thought ... so, then I'm confused on how you watched last season. Action is definitely a prevalent element in this story, but the world building and different factions play a big role and are just as important to the story itself. So if you are not already invested in slime, there is no reason to watch this if you are someone with a tiktok attention span who solely watches anime for only action and no story.

This seasons animation is clean and matches the source material's art well as best as it can for an anime. As a source reader, this season will just get better and better, and even BETTER in the next seasons. Again If you don't like shows with great world building, good politics, and cool characters, then DO NOT watch this.

The protagonists of this season are tables, with chairs as the side characters, and cups of tea as plot twists.

This show is a big giant meeting, everyone explains things over and over again, and episodes end with hooks to fool you into thinking that something will happen in the next one.

I know, some action will probably happen towards mid season, but if it is like S2, then it is not worth watching overall.

Every time I sit down to watch this anime felt like a breath of fresh air from life. It’s just so fun,
it gives off a super tranquilizing vibe to watch
+ it has the most epic, energetic high-level action
+ crazy, Fluid animation
+ Shion is exquisitely beautiful
+ Mirimu is the definition of "Cute"

Also, the legendary, magical Op's and ED's hit HARD,
I experienced incomprehensible ecstacy from every single one,
I literally can't stop replaying them in my head,

Additionally, sunique plot, crazy worldbuilding, bloody fights and creative power system, makes it an extremely immersive, mythical adventure

Tensura has made me undergo liberating experiences, that make me want to leave reality and get a lost in a world of fantasy <3

First of all, to those who complain about the slow pace, just read the light novel: the build-up is rather slow, yet it was worth it.
Remember that this is the aftermath of a huge war and how Rimuru becomes the true leader of the forest. So yeah, the pace is a bit slow, so what.
Second, the execution is pretty acurate and some of the characters are just so amazingly funny. And the music is just as great as in the other two seasons, so I don't see a problem there.
Third, the character building probably will be amazing, so before complaining after only so few episodes ... and comparing to other anime you just happen to don't like even if you probably didn't care to watch them, just wait and don't click the "not recommended´ so early on...

The storytelling of the show is what can make it good or not and these talks aren't compelling enough for our viewing, there was not any revelation or some type of tension during all these talks that makes the story appealing, nothing new makes the story interesting. The biggest issue is that this church doesn't seem much of a threat for Tempest but we got introduced to them like they're gonna be important for the rest of the season, this is really underwhelming to have such forgettable characters taking so much place in the story. Another point is that this show has already so many ... characters that you can't care for all of them, putting so much more of them makes them forgettable. I really hope that the stakes can be raised in the next episodes, maybe Rimuru and Hinata relation after the fight could improve the story, Diablo's doing something fishy too, these are the only interesting points of this season for the moment.

This show is just turning into a completely generic Isekai at this point, I'm just wondering what could they do to make the story compelling because I just do not care about these characters, everything seems too easy for Rimuru and the village, seriously who really think that the church is a problem for him and Tempest? He is OP af now and he has Milim, Diablo, Veldra, etc... with him, no way that these church vampires could ever have a chance if they respect the power levels established in the show

I love politics in anime btw but these politics are just not that interesting, this world is a classic generic isekai world with no particularities that makes it unique. These 5 episodes have just been poorly thought and written, bad storytelling is not smart writing if the build up is terrible.

Now, I will admit that so far, as of EP4, not a lot has happened that is visually appetising to the typical isekai enjoyer. There's not been any big fights, or any characters showing off how OP they are (Diablo does show his power, albeit differently).
Most of these initial episodes have been a lot of monologuing and setup, which is actually a lot of what happens in TenSura; This was the same kind of thing that happened when S2 started airing as well.

TenSura does indeed have epic fights and I'm sure, based on what should be covered this season, we will be seeing some in ... some of the later episodes, but what makes TenSura what it is, is the world-building, political intrigue and Rimuru building-up his city, which is what we are currently getting in the initial episodes.

Rimuru has just come back from Walpurgis and decisions are being made as to what needs to happen in regards to the Falmuth Kingdom. In the background, we have backstory on the "antagonist" Hinata Sakaguchi and the fact that she has ties to Demon Lord Valentine, while Yuuki Kagurazaka and "Ex" Demon Lord Kazaream scheme on their next moves.

So far, the intrigue and hints at what will happen later, are more than enough to keep me invested and watching this show. As much as I like my over-the-top fights and typical isekai trash, TenSura is one of those shows to savour and enjoy the slow-burn up until the big payoff.

I'm putting this as 8/10 - Very Good at the moment, as I do believe the anime is being well-written in these first few episodes.

Tensura is not Souso no Frieren. Slow start is expected. Watch after half a cour has passed.

Start is building up from last season after the Warpurgis and is slowly getting us up to date with different parts of world.

It will build up to good action and more interesting story but it will be full length novel instead of short stories. Would suggest to wait to start watching show till at least 7-8 episodes have passed so that pace gets built.

Animation: Quality animation for isekai shows with good sound tracks.
Characters: Good goofy characters with quality back stories.
Story: Story is in starting phase with the characters being ... reintroduced and setting for the season is being made.
