The Oofuji Noburou Award (大藤信郎賞) is an animation award given at the Mainichi Film Awards. It is named after Japanese animator Noburou Oofuji. Best soundtracks composed in anime with the best song title included in my opinion. This list contains all movies that aren't related with any anime series. (Pre 2014) Classic 20th-century series and films that most old-school otaku have heard of and many older fans will cite as the reason they became a life-long weeb in the first place. Some have gotten sequels or modern reboots, while others have been relegated to the past and stand alone as fondly-remembered products of their time. If you want to take a journey through anime history, these shows are the place to start! A small collection of Anime that aired in the late 90s / early-mid 2000s on German television. SBS - the free to air channel with actual international content that everyone either spends 5 minutes watching or 3 hours watching, no in-between. They used to air a fair bit of anime alongside their normally scheduled programming, and you might even be able to catch a few Ghibli films every now and then today. Titles in which the characters are piloting flying devices (planes, brooms, etc) within the atmosphere. The characters being pilots is relevant to the plot, and during a big part of screen time there is action in the air. This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). -Includes all types of genre but mostly (slice of life, comedy, romance) Anime that aired in Britain on TV. Does not include streaming, home release, etc. Some air dates are included. Dieselpunk is a retrofuturistic subgenre of science fiction that combines the aesthetics of the diesel-based technology of the interwar period through to the 1950s with retro-futuristic technology.
