Anime that are adjacent to Trigun or what many Trigun fans are (or might be) into as well (personal guesses to be honest so take this list with a grain of salt)

In Theaetetus, Socrates said "Philosophy begins in Wonder."

During my time as an anime fan, I have marveled at many anime for their excellence in characters, story, music, and animation. But the anime that places me in a state of wonder are more precious. Some anime have brought me to question morality, human nature, the meanings of life and death, and existence itself. They are not always my favorites, but the impact those anime leave on me is always profound and long-lasting.

I believe the anime on this list are thought provoking. Many I have seen myself, while others I have heard enough about to know that they are anime of this nature. They tend to evoke a sense of wonder on some subject of a philosophic nature, which is why I tried to describe each by the questions they lead us to ask.

I know that some may deem me as pretentious or pseudo-intellectual for making a list such as this (though I neither claim to be better than others nor think of myself as an intellectual). But for those who enjoy the examined life--for those seeking wonder--I hope that this list finds you and aids you in your quest.

the best selection of anime with blonde girls.
blonde girls are amazing. Is not surprising by making at list it came to light that is possible to fill a list of more than 100 animes!

If you notice that I missing out some another nice blonde waifu just let me by DM know to add it.

A collection of stories that have storytelling or narrative with strong philosophical themes, characters that go through existential crisis, lack of meaning and purpose, depression and emptiness, or very subtly indicate towards the absurd world, existentialism, and the purpose and meaning of human emotions, life, and consciousness.

Those series that had not one but TWO (or more!) anime adaptations!!

Disclaimer: I'm not sure that I know every anime that fits this criteria so I will add those that I already know about and add more as I see more of this (dm me or comment in my profile if you want me to add an specific item, stick to the rules down below tho). This will prolly need more parts due to the 50 items limit per list, any new part will be linked at the end of this description. This is not a recommendation list, there's some adaptations that I wouldn't recommend but they're included since it fits the topic of the list, as it's purpose is giving visibility to these type of cases.

Rules:
-Has to be at least 2 anime adaptations (regarding of length/episode number/format..) of the same original media (manga, novel, game, etc).
-Sequels don't count, so won't be added (you can search sequels for an adaptation on your own by clicking the name of the item to go to it's page). I do this to reduce the amount of items per list due to the 50 item limit per stack, in this way there's less parts needed for continue this 'project'.

No sequels, no split cours. Just a single complete self-contained story. This list does not include shows that partially adapt a story and encourage viewers to check out its source material for the rest.

Note: the quality of these anime adaptations compared to any source material is subjective. If they tell a full, complete story, then they're on the list.

these are anime that diverted my grief through some of the most difficult times in my life. They serve as my reminder that happiness is simple, and hard to get, but beautiful and precious when you can find it. Teaching me no matter what, it's achievable to gain back even if it takes time. Through many emotions, I obtained also a part of myself again.

various genres and anime for all you lovely people. Hoping you watch these and enjoy them as much as I felt them with my heart. They all impacted me differently.
