Yuto Takamine and his younger sister-in-law Kaori, were at their parents' grave, when they were suddenly summoned into another world, Phantasmagoria. The King and a woman named Restina took Kaori as a hostage, and ordered Yuto to fight against their enemies. Then, the King gave him a sword called Motomeh to protect their kingdom from enemy spirits. Kaori will only be freed if Yuto helps protect Phantasmagoria. Thus, Yuto's journey begins...

Mixed Feelings
I was disappointed in how this anime ended. Although this anime does come from an RPG game, you would probably expect more from this anime.

Story (7/10):
The story plot for this anime was pretty decent. Having a boy and his sister-in-law suddenly summoned to a different world, the boy fighting to unite with his sister does sound to me like a decent plot.

The art wasn't all that good considering that it was released starting in 2005. I mean like other anime releases such as R.O.D or the Mobile Suit Gundam series had much better graphics than Eien no Aselia.

The voicing wasn't consistent throughout the 2 ...

Mixed Feelings
The Eternal Aseria is a nostalgic, if somewhat generic OVA from the mid-2000s, notable only for being an isekai which predates the craze that would come later. The story is formulaic but entertaining, with your typical 'transported to another world, surrounded by girls who are obsessed with you' trope being the main narrative tentpole of the show. While the fights are fun, and the world is passingly entertaining, it's easy to guess what happens next at any given moment, which leads to a lack of dramatic tension. It also ends rather abruptly, and feels as though this OVA is nothing more than an advertisement for ...
