Death games where high schoolers have to participate in high stake life or death 'games' to survive. Both have a main theme of their being a traitor in their group who put them in the death game. There's also an over-the-top mascot in each anime who runs the games.

- High school students participating in well-known games, but in a dangerous way with psychological pressure and strategies. - Both animes have an administration for these games to happen, they watch everything. - Both have torture and situations where the body of some character suffers some kind of aggression ps: Tomodachi game is somewhat similar to Squid Game/ Round 6, if anyone liked the series

Both animes are based on a death-game psychological idea, where high-school students have to go through "games" or challenges in order to survive.

In both anime the characters play mind games where they have to betray each other for survival, even if they're related to each other or not. Also, in both series there's one specific person with sharp mind who tries his best to win the game.

-game strategies -the essence of the protagonist is exactly the same, the only difference is that in tomodachi game we have a very outgoing protagonist -the friendship of the characters is often questioned -something is always hidden behind the tests and the protagonist is the one who plans it

They both have an mc that is kinda twisted... even though yuuichi is no where as good as William but yes I really think it's a good to watch both of them

Both mc's are stuck with their friends in some sort of game. They're also both extremely smart.

Death-game scenario. Platinum End was made by the creators of Death Note (which I haven't watched but that's how you know Platinum end is going to be good). The kinda difference would be that Tomodachi Game involves death GAMES specifically whereas Platinum End, it's all one competition to see who is the last to survive.

In each show the main cast of teenagers is forced into a situation where they have to work together as a team to accomplish one goal. They are both being manipulated by shady organizations. The goal has do due with friendship, camaraderie, and connections to others.

Its deceptive plot is super similar, and both stories end with you wishing there was more. A lot was left unanswered while still being entertaining in both series.
