Shin Gengou Nyankogelion

Another great job from Anno Hideaki. Its actually cannon story and its affecting the story in the eva verse. The character development is great. Very psychological and very abstract. I think this is Anno Hideaki's abstract expression. If u want to watch it you should read some psycho-analysis books and the holy bible. The animation is like a masterpiece and the art style is better than every anime i've seen ever. I cant say anything to musics its great like every evangelion thing. Enjoyement is 10/10 this is the best experience you guys can had in 2 minute. Now we are going to talk about ... story with spoilers.

The part of eva 01 turning to nyanko is greatly affects lore. And at the beginning we saw a blue fire, it symbolizes the shinji's mother (Yui Ikari).

You know what? Now I’m not even that disappointed that the last movie is still not released yet, because this is just great. The sheer amount of entertainment that you get in a minute and half of a content is amazing. Whoever thought of remaking Evangelion characters into simplified artstyle cats and then recreate the whole legendary opening should get a raise.

The attention to detail is great, as lot of the imagery last just few frames (same as in the original opening) and yet when you go through the video frame-by-frame those short flashes still provide great parody content. Quite the rewatch value for ... something this short. And they even got the singer of the original song for this, only this time replacing all of the lyrics with “nya nya nya”. Truly genius.

I wholly recommend this to all Evangelion fans. Except for those stuck-up few that think it is sacrilege to make parody of this franchise. Which is weird because this is hardly the first official parody.
