As someone who has played Fire Emblem Heroes for a total of 3 years (from release date to early 2020), I will admit that the story of the game hasn't really captivated me for the most part and definitely wasn't the main reason for me to play. However, I have given the story a chance, making sure to read every line of dialogue up until the end of Book III.
