Hanhua Riji

I’d love for more people to watch this donghua!! Originally, I watched this series out of boredom but found it pretty enjoyable! The show is silly, unpredictable and funny!

The storyline is random, but not in a way you’re completely lost in terms of what’s happening. It’s made to be a slice of life, it’s fun, realistic while also being dramatic and exaggerated.. yet somehow, a completely perfect balance? Episodes are short and it’s easy to go along with even with the pretty quick pace and with the most odd plot twists.

Animation is simple yet beautiful, it’s pleasing to the eye. There are exaggerated movements ... and expressions to amplify the comedic nature of the show! Paired with the soft and simple soundtrack, the show is so calming and delightful (PLUS the ending song is SO under appreciated, it’s so super cutesy.. ՞߹ - ߹՞)

Characters are simple and relatable, especially the main character “Su Moting” (mostly referred to as “Ting” in the show)! She’s realistic, she is likeable despite her flaws and isn’t absolutely insufferable. The characters in the show don’t have the most CRAZY character development which some may dislike but generally, I was fine with it..?

Overall, the show isn’t a MUST watch, I wouldn’t recommend it in such a way! It’s not an absolute gem.. However, I do think it’s worth watching if you’re bored! ദ്ദി(｡•̀ ,<)~✩‧₊

if you want a funny and slice of life donghua/anime, i recommend this. The characters and storyline is really funny and if you know your Chinese well it'll be even funnier without seeing the subtitles. Overall, I think the story is unique and its not really predictable. The characters are really funny and is designed in a way that the watcher(my opinion!) likes. The main character is sort of relatable. The show also breaks the fourth wall sometimes but that makes it funnier lol

I don't really know if its enjoyable for other people, but for me I do find it enjoyable and funny so i ... recommend to watch it. You can watch the seasons on Netflix or Bilibili.

Sorry, but this anime has nothing special. The three episodes I watched were neither good nor bad.

When you watch an anime, you’re supposed to get immersed in its world — personally, I didn’t feel that at all. In conclusion, I wasn’t entertained. And apart from the One Piece reference, nothing really made me laugh, though I think it was a good idea (about : One piece)

The anime is quite active with a good pace, but there’s too much talking and jokes that just don’t make me laugh.

The characters in this anime are really interesting, but unfortunately that’s not enough to win me over.

I know my ... review is pretty harsh, but that’s how it is — I have picky tastes. Still, I’m not expecting an anime on the level of Saiki Kusuo either.
