Recommendations

This recommendation is being made for those who are interested in newer takes on older series, for both of these series are newer takes on older franchises from Japan. While they may not be every fan of that particular series cup-of-tea, they are likely to appeal to someone who is either the classic series from Japan. One of the ways they take a new spin is by working with a newer style for the franchise while also involving new characters.

Teenage student protagonist with a cool looking armor with super powers fights evil alien monsters. Guyver is more on the gorier side tho.

Superheroes from another world fight against an evil power beyond their grasp. It has all the classic Tatsunoko heroes and is a lot more colorful and creative. The storytelling can get dark at times and the stakes are pretty much as high as in this one. Infini-T Force doesn't show any splatter, gore or blood and is a little more child friendly. Also I like the animation a little better.

Modern anime adaptation of their respective Tokusatsu series, bloody and violent but has a lovable plot with innocent MCs

Fortunatelly Netflix's Ultraman is not another 'Power Rangers'. For me it is very similar to Gantz series: superpower from space; bad and good aliens, naïve main protagonist etc.

It's like I'm watching Ultraman again. The use of the CGI, the guy who wants to be the hero and protect everyone, the character designs, and the equipping mecha suits to fight monsters are all similar! :D
