Want to see something life-changing? An amazing anime that's a 10/10 and is widely discussed as a work of art? Well you won't find that here, quite the opposite, I decided to gather up a few animes that I consider to be an anime version of shitposting. Where either the art, plot, or anything else is done bad on purpose. Don't watch these thinking anything serious or profound is about to happen. Go into these for a good laugh and something to help remove you from the seriousness of life.

The OVA market dried up as straight to video releases became a thing of the past, which is unfortunate because a lot of interesting and unique anime were released in this format. The point of the list is to feature worthwhile OVAs that are more than just fanservice or shoddy extras for TV series. Sigh, due to the explicit content warning feature, I've excluded Mezzo Forte, but it would be on here otherwise. I should also probably make room for Yukikaze at some point.

about Avant Garde genre,

Experimental fiction which shunned conventional storytelling at the time it was created. These stories often invoke unsettled feelings because they reject traditional ways in which we prefer to view (or escape from) the world. Narrative is avant garde works is often of higher importance than the content.

Deconstructions often fall into this genre. Note that simply being darker, edgier, or cynical doesn't mean the work is avant garde.

about the weirdest anime, well, actually I just said it, it's just some bizzare animes, I don't think I'm capable of understanding them all, but why not try? Weird things sometimes have interesting things hidden.

It's no secret that anime can get pretty weird sometimes. Many series take their audiences on a mind-boggling ride, leaving them to question everything they thought they knew about reality. While just about every anime title is weird in its own way, some are just beyond strange. They play with the audiences' minds, relying on psychological storylines and eccentric characters to keep everyone guessing.

Sometimes they don't even feel real at all and seem more like a strange dream. A lot of times, these kinds of series are too much for general audiences, becoming far too confusing to keep up with. But for those who enjoy the challenge, these anime are the perfect watch.

There are totally weird-anime titles that I have put on my other stacks before so I will not want to list them here because this is not a list to evaluate the quality of anime of different themes.

With Madoka Magica and Dokuro-chan inspiring the new magical girl show, Magical Destroyers, this is literally just a collection of shows that relate to each other in some way or have the same vibe. No Madoka clones.

Standalone OVAs from 2000-2009.
Eve no Jikan is labeled on MAL as an ONA, but won the OVA Category during the 2010 Tokyo Anime Award.
There are potentially other OVAs that are labeled as ONAs that aren't included in this list.

Oh boy! I didn't think I'd find 50 anime that fit the criteria, but here we are again! This stack may contain more NSFL content compared to stack 1.

Because MAL requires 5 minimum to make a stack, some of these may be filler until I find better options.
