Ibara no Ou and Bloodivores are about a ragtag group of characters that are locked away and wake up some time later to find out their world has heavily changed. Both anime has monsters that hunt everyone down by the masses and the audience must figure out what happened.

both have two different kind of people that co-exist "non-humans" in both shows are discriminated by "humans" "non-humans" in both shows get their source to live by eating the "humans" (except in BV, they drink blood) both MC look the same(its pointless but i just want to point it out lol) both non-humans use "masks" to hide their faces though its more unique in tokyo ghoul(no offense :P)
