Based on the popular video game series, both have strong storylines. Street Fighter is older, so the graphics aren't the level of Advent's Children both the fight scenes can compare.

Both provide additional animated content for the worlds of their respective Final Fantasy games. Advent Children acts as a sequel to the iconic FFVII whereas Brotherhood is a prequel to the most recent FFXV.

Both CGI "Final Fantasy" movies that work as a prequel/sequel to their respective games. Kingsglaive takes place before the events of the XV game whereas Advent Children takes place after the events of it's game's story. Both are aesthetically stunning with great action scenes and directing. Both filled with tie ins and call backs to the lore of their respective worlds. Fans of FF will definitely immensely enjoy both titles.

Both are cult following and critically acclaimed video games that portray and epic adventure with strong written parties and villains with nice touching concepts with a well executed plot, soundtrack, and art.

Animation is similar & they're perfect for Action lovers. They are also both based on Video Games.

They both look similar in animation and have a bit of a sci fi mecha theme to them being present more in appleseed.

Animation and graphics are very good, I could even say a whole lot better composed then in FF. If you liked the FF series, this is something you should watch.

WELL...there are hot characters in both! There's ALOT of action and they both have awesome music during the fighting scenes. The storylines and plots are just amazing because you don't know what to expect. There's a good twist in the end of every DMC episode. ^-^

When you fight you do it with all your heart for someone who is very important to you. You are ready to sarcrifise everything for that person. Both Claud from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and Haseo from .hack//G.U. Trilogy are the ones destines to save the world and everyone else. So, if you liked the one, then I think the other will suit your taste, too~ =]

Both these anime provide additional lore to Final Fantasy games. Advent Children works as a direct sequel to the fan favourite FF7 whereas Episode Ardyn is a prequel to the more recent FF15 which shows the backstory of the series main villain. Fans of Final Fantasy or either game will enjoy both.

Both main characters, Cloud and Train, share those traits. They are badass characters with dead lovers, are super strong, have hidden pasts, were once part of an evil organizations, are loners who change because of their friends, and are good-looking with weird names. :p

First of all they are not the same because final fantasy is a movie the other one is a series. But the story itself is not so much differrent, they both starts with a disease came from the effects a meteor or something that hit on earth and trying to figure out the possibility of finding a cure. The main character of both title is male. You will definitely enjoy because of some baddass action.

There is not much to stories as it's not suppose to be important in both, but there are lots of action scenes and fight with of course aliens and monsters in similar places like desert and city.

This is intended more to compare Honneamise and the original FF7 game. FF7 seemingly drew inspiration from Honneamise in its world, as both pick and choose similar tech and style from the 19th century to present. Both also have main characters who similarly fluctuate between self-loathing and purposeful optimism.

Both these anime take place directly after mainline Final Fantasy titles. Final Fantasy (OVA) continues on the story of FF V whereas Advent Children continues on the fan favourite FF 7. Fans of the franchise or of either title will likely enjoy both of them.

If you like post-apocalyptic dystopian settings, this is for you. More action-oriented than Pale Cocoon, but with a deep plot as well, although you might not get it if you're not a Final Fantasy fan. Lush CG animation, too, and a legendary soundtrack (one of the best I've heard in any anime).

Action oriented movies with a lot of sword fights. Both of the main characters from those movies are tortured lone wolf with an obscur past, and they both feel guilty for something that happened in their pasts. Also they love kid and they both have a particular relation with an orphan. And both movies are freakin' stereotypical, boring, substanceless and irritating.

Though they may not share similar stories, both movies showed great animation/cgi. So if you're looking for eye candy or whatnot you may like Captain Harlock.

More backstory, explains how Cloud is a pansy and Zack Fair is the real hero from SOLDIER... Enjoy.

Both takes place after a game and have similar animations. Personally I prefer Final Fantasy, it has better fighting scenes.. characters.. etc. But if you like Final Fantasy, you will definitely like Biohazard.

Some themes in Gundam Seed Destiny and FFVIII are alike, sci fi based, dark, and something that is dead will return.

Two game based anime movies, with awesome animation and lot of action where the fighting scenes are almost flawless. The details are pinpoint accurate, with a decent amount of blood&gore. Also it's helpfull if you played the game's or read a little something regarded to the games because it will maybe be a little hard to understand the story or to connect some characters with the main story.
