Diabolik Lovers More,Blood

This season was, again, outstanding, that's what I give it.

#1 reason I love this season of the series, the story. The plot of the story, even though I've never played the game, is breathe taking. It captures the imagination of the viewers and they can't stop watching.

#2 is the characters. Each character plays a great roles surrounding the heroine of this story. She has a way of changing each and every one of them in their daily lives. It's not just about them drinking her blood it's more to it than that.

#3 is the music & art. The music they use for each episode is ... outstanding and fitting to each scene. The art is also incredible. Just beautiful.

#4 is the enjoyment. I found that once I or anyone who starts watching this series will enjoy this series from beginning to end no matter how boring they think it is.

Overall this series and 2nd season was just amazing. Can't wait for more Diabolik Lovers.

First of all, it's MUCH better than the first season, which was mediocre at best. This one is just flat out better. If you liked the first season at all, even as a guilty pleasure, (which, honestly, is probably what it is for most of us who got this far) give the second season a chance. Though why it got a second season at all is beyond me... Well, whatever!

Story: 6-ish.

It's not anything revolutionary or anything, but it is there, which is more than I can say about the first series until ... the last few episodes. (And even then, it was not very good.)

This season, Yui is kidnapped because she's now Eve in addition to almost-Cordelia for some reason. This will not be explained, nor will what being Adam means. Because it's ~*~fun~*~ keeping the audience in the dark about the core of your plot. (I mean jfc! Not a word?)

Still, learning more about the characters and the conflict, for what little of it there was, between the new guys and old guys drove the season well enough for me to not drop it. (Totally would have dropped it last season if the episodes weren't so short.)

Then, the last episode ends on a cliff hanger and what looks like a promise of a third season. And still isn't subbed. Even though it's been out since the tenth and it's the seventeenth. I had to rely on my below basic language skills and context. I got the bare minimum. I'll be watching it subbed whenever it comes out.


Art: 7 or 8.

Very nice, solid art, same as last season. I still don't get why everyone's hair is so floofy compared to the game, but that's my problem.

But what's-his-face with the eyepatch and glasses. Why is his eyepatch ON TOP OF his GLASSES????????? That is a super awkward way to wear it! And it would look absolutely retarded in real life. Or seen from LITERALLY ANY OTHER ANGLE than what we got. Take it from someone who wears glasses. You DON'T put stuff like that over your glasses. You put them under. GAWD.


Sound: 6.

I didn't actually notice it as I was watching. So, it's not bad or anything. It's just... Yeah. And then I didn't particularly care for the OP or the ED, so... Yeah. Look at reviews by people who paid attention. Sorry.


Character: 7.

I liked the new guys much more. This time, they're actually sympathetic characters and not all a bunch of jerks most of the time. (Not Shuu though. He was nice, if apathetic. And never on screen. Or my angry bby Subaru. RIP.)

Last season, everything felt smashed together and we barely scratched the surface of what the game provided. Now, I haven't actually played either of the games, but I have read summaries of the routes for the first game, and those boys were SO fucked up by Cordelia and her shit. And the season showed almost none of that, so I didn't like any of them. Not to mention the focus was spread out enough that we couldn't get to understand any of them. And I just didn't like their personalities. Especially not Ayato and R/Laito. (Except Kanato. Kanato was great to watch.)

This season with the cast reduced, we could get more of their backstories. So we CARE more about them and I want them to be happy. BE HAPPY PLEASE.

And they actually care for each other!!! And treat each other like a family!!!! The Sakamakis were all so frigid to each other this is like a breath of fresh air!

(Also, Yuuma is like, the closest to my type this series has, so... Bit biased here. Just, how he looks out for Azusa and how he's got a tomato garden and just everything about him~~~~ Sorry. I'll stop now.)

Yui is still our protagonist, so no improvement there. Seriously, they kidnapped you and you can't tell Subaru "they kidnapped me, so no shit I'm not here by choice?" And they're ALL under the impression she just up and left them for the Mukami brothers??? CORRECT THEM, DAMMIT! Even if you don't exactly want to leave, at least let them know you didn't betray them or whatever they think!


Enjoyment: 7. (Pls don't hate me.)

I watched this after the shit first season and you wouldn't think I'd like it? Honestly. Hell, I'm gonna watch the third season! (Fuck cliff hangers though. Just... WHY.)

Most of my bitter dislike is specifically directed at not having any answers after the entire season being paired with that "literally nothing is ever going to be resolved in this fucking series" ending. While I was watching it, I was yelling at Yui, asking the show for answers, and fawning over the Mukamis. So you all know what I enjoyed. I have no shame admitting it here. This is what we came for.


Overall: 7 is sorta my average, so let's go with that!

It was decent. I liked it. You don't have to agree with me. We are allowed to have different opinions.

Just know that you will have questions with no answers, but that was really the same with the last season, so... And last season's questions (like "Why did Cordelia's heart fit inside a baby? And what kind of magic made it try to possess her?" or "There were other 'brides', right? Why? If Yui is the vessel for Cordelia because she had her heart, why would anyone think Cordelia could possess any of the other girls?" and "Why the hell is she there? Seriously? Were the vampires threatening her foster father?") are completely ignored in favor of giving new ones. I guess this is going to be par for the course with this series. Sigh.

Still, in spite of its faults, it was still better than last season, so I have to give it that.

I love this story i have always wanted to play the games, the Mukami and Sakamaki family are given more than a few chances to develop their story but it mostly just ends up with them "biting into an apple". Well Yui/Eve's neck. And whats with all the bath scenes?! At least undress Shuu first...

Laito, Azusa, kou, Shuu and Subaru's voice actors match their character perfectly. However i'm not keen on Kanato's VA... To be honest i would swap out Disuke for Junichi and move Disuke to Reiji but it goes well

Can't wait until Dark Fate comes out and this season has only ... just finished!

Wow! what a season!. Honestly i was even more surprised when they brought back the same plot, concept, characters, blood sucking intent and misogyny in season 2.

Story 10/10
How can i even begin, i have no words. I love how they carried out the same plot all the viewers hated the most and stayed true to its premise of a girl getting sucked on every 4 seconds by 9 guys multiple times an episode, and thats about it. Yeah that's about it, its simple, concise, and you'll most likely relate to how yui feels as you;re gonna get several headaches and concussions hitting your ... head against a wall.

the art stayed consistent within both seasons, un generic, colorful and pretty and vibrant. Not to mention the hair that apparently defies all concept of physics

Honestly i can get enough of that same piano ost in the background playing in all scenes. And not to mention the amazing Op's and ED's which have nothing to do with the show. Also slurping noises 10/10

FINALLY my favourite part. Just as you thought ur inner masochistic self couldn't come out any faster. All the guys are are charming, and not hypocritical at all. I love when they talk about how horrible they feel for the main heroine that she's being tortured upon and then proceed by force drinking her blood like 2 seconds later. If you like your sadistic, psychotic and trashy harem sausage party, then this is the show for you. The main heroine Yui is probably my favourite. Just like you may know, I love my useless protagonists. Especially when they make no development throughout the entire show! like honestly, youd think when your're being dragged, pushed, sucked, tortured and so on, youd have the common courtesy to try and run away right! Nope. Top quality traits right here people. Just stand still while yelling "please stop" repeatedly should do the trick. God I love her

And boy was this enjoyable. I love how the shock value even disappeared. Before even proceeding to the next episode, I could tell that Yui would most likely be sucked on for blood by at least 5 of the guys in her neck, chest, leg, arm, stomach, feet ect. I love the thrill and buildup of when Yui decides to go back to communicating with the vampires even after knowing the risks and doing absolutely nothing about it and acting shocked when they decided to torture her. Absolutely magnificent.

This has ot be my favourite show of all time like honestly can you blame it. generic and repetitive story, bland and useless characters, 1 song to theme the whole thing, inner rage about why the main protagonist is so damn stupid, its all part of the package!

I find that the art of this anime really has the ability to capture my attention, with much detail going into the characters to add to their individual character. The plot I feel is more orientated towards the character development and the romance, although from what I have seen I would still say that the other elements interests me. However, this ambiguity of plot may be a deliberate element of the anime, helping to pull you into it as you wish for a better understanding.

I thoroughly enjoy its reverse harem format, as that adds to the character development element. Overall, I have enjoyed following ... 'Diabolik lovers More Blood' and the twists that happen with the plot and characters. Although, I will add in my opinion due to the reverse harem element it would appeal more to a female audience.

This is coming from the perspective of someone who has watched both seasons, read the manga, AND PLAYED THE GAMES.

I feel like with Diabolik Lovers if you want to know the plot in depth you must play the otome game. Since I already know everything about each character and everything about the plot this anime feels like it was made for the already fans. It's the only way to understand what's going on.

To those that don't know: the Adam and Eve plan is to have one of the vampires awaken as "Adam" and give birth to a new race with "Eve" (Yui). The Mukami ... brothers are trying to help carry out this plan by seeing if they can become Adam themselves. They do this by drinking her blood. Reiji says they won't be successful because only a pure blood vampire can become Adam. In the game Yui must choose an Adam (This is why the ending was so significant). Every episode is pretty much just scenes from the game taken from a character's route. Watching this anime without knowing any backstory can be challenging to understand everything. I would suggest reading up about the story before watching the anime so you can enjoy it much more. I saw the first season before knowing anything and thought it was bad but when I learned more about the characters and plot watching the show again was 100x more enjoyable.

Characters 10/10 I love Kanato ♥

First I have to say that I have never played the game or read the manga so the anime is all "new" to me so to say. I loved the series for a few reasons. First of all the music - absolutely brilliant!!! The characters are complex - they have the good, the bad...the kinky :) The series leaves you wanting to know more, expecting the next surpise of circumstances, characters' choices. Though the episodes are short the story follows interesting line, it shows to its best the inner struggle of characters, their experiences and how they were affected by them. So it leaves food ... for thought for sure.After all only so much can be shown it 10 minutes and was actually surprised by waht the creators managed to acomplish - they build up confliscts, showed difficult decisions and left room for the story to evolve.

I'm going to to take pride in being one of the only positive reviewers on this site. Season 2 MASSIVELY improves the story and characters. We are given character development for most (if not all) the sakamakis, which we really should've been given in season 1 but we get it here instead. Season 2 is amazing, the soundtrack and story especially as we are given an actual plot to follow and enjoy. If you liked season 1, your guaranteed to like season 2. If you didn't like season 1 it could go two ways, Firstly, you actually like this season. Or secondly, you still ... don't like it.

Personally, I really enjoyed season 2 and have rewatched it again and again. I actually began to like the protagonist by season 2 as it seems she acquires the ability to think and have feelings other than shock,fright and ditziness.

Where do I begin with this anime? I am a fan of the first season (although I am among few). Its a reverse harem shojo with very one dimensional characters. It serves its purpose in making women swoon with its sexy vampire men (myself included). In Diabolik Lovers: More Blood, the character of the Sakamaki brothers remains pretty much the same. There is slight development with Ayato's character. I was at first not to thrilled about the new characters, the Mukami tribe. Nothing could come between me and the Sakamaki brothers. However, the Mukami tribe has exceeded my expectations. They are far more relatable than ... the Sakamaki brothers in that they can actually hold a conversation with Yui. This anime is moving in the right direction with its character development and story.

The story was great! But I have to say that Ruki made the story lame by his long chit chat with Yui. I mean, Ayato got only 4 episodes in there. How could you call them main if they barely come out?! I think season 2 focused more of the Mukami brothers. I don't know why they would focus on NEWCOMERS instead of the OLD ONE.

I hate Ruki. He wants to be adam so bad, why does he have to take Yui from the Sakamaki brothers?! The Mukami brothers kidnapped Yui which they have no right, and made Yui have her own ... "freedom" in life. Seriously, they are prisoning her! I still rate it 10/10 because of Ayato!

I loved the plot and the characters! And I definitely want a season 3!


I like how the story is going and I love how mysterious it is going!


And they are all that many males who are surrounding only one girl!

segunda temporada deste belo anime (belo ?), a proposta da segunda temporada foi repetitiva, nossa ela é a tal "Eve" e precisamos do sangue dela para se torna Adams, eles adicionam mais 4 vampiros e 1 deles sendo o amigo de infancia (possivelmente pois não afirmam) que deu o cachorrinho pra um dos meninos quando era pequeno, pra mim a proposta foi muito fraca, mas se tivesse um remake onde exatamente resolve-se o erro da primeira temporada e da segunda, a nossa bela protagonista Bitch-cha 0 personalidade, seria um hiper remake que eu veria se resolver a personalidade dela, eu nem sei se ... o mangá é exatamente assim, mas se for podia ser uma daquelas obras em que o diretor salvaria a obra fazendo ela ser melhor para o publico que procura.
Este sim é um anime que foi focadasso no hárem mas com uma protagonista sem personalidade fica dificil você querer.
