Well, I feel somewhat cheated with the ending of the show, to be honest since it is pretty predictable from the start who would win this election but the fact that the character had such an advantage in the end purely by chance to win. Also as for other parts, I feel like the author should have looked at how slowly an airship falls and moves unpowered or powered, it isn't an aeroplane.

That said this show does have something, a legendary episode, one that is the scene on funniest moments videos and such which was episode 4 an absolutely legendary episode ... which was beyond hilarious. A 10/10 on its own.

The story is just lots of siblings with special powers, some more special than others that even have a forfeit to using the powers race to become the next King in a very predictable race.

The art is actually one of the best parts of the show is so very good.

The sound is great in many ways and comes with a nice selection.

Characters all develop very nicely with the main characters getting full development to the point you want and also finding out Akane's issues properly. (She is the main character). Reiko one of the girls in the show is the best girl, she is a supporting character of few words but is cool. Shiori has literally the funniest power and with her age makes it even funnier, she is a delight to see every time she comes on screen. Airship-san, haha so funny. Because of this characters make up the best part of the show by far.

In the end, the show is a good watch. I thought it was very good until the last episode sort of killed the mood with the resolution but then they were going to have a lot to cram in otherwise I guess.

Yeah so this show I just felt not a lot happened like there wasn't really any story or anything interesting going on in it. So yeah story I thought was pretty non-existent, the art was decent pretty average tbh, sound was whatever, characters were fine they didn't really seem all that well written to me, but they were likable enough so id say that part was pretty decent. So in terms of overall quality id say this show was like 5 just kinda average, not a lot happens but the characters are enjoyable so it's not all that bad. I guess it's a pretty good ... show to just relax to. For my overall personal enjoyment id say this show is still a 5, and this is pretty much for the same reasons. I definitely wouldn't call this show good, but it is an enjoyable show if that makes sense.

What I can only describe as Cheaper By The Dozen meets The Trueman Show, CTD is a superb slice of life anime which follows an extraordinary family living an extraordinary life. With tons of heart, lots of warmth & many laughs CTD follows 9 siblings as they battle it out to win the publics favour to become the next king. Our main lead Akane Sakurada is an incredibly shy girl who you absolutely fall in love with.

The relationships between the siblings range from very sweet to sometimes incredibly sad but seeing all of their bonds tighten over this competition is so sweet to watch. ...

Surprisingly as well for a show with as many characters as this has the writers somehow manage to give each character their own plot & time to shine throughout the series, which is mighty impressive as a big cast can usually cause many characters to become lost in the shuffle.

There is of course plenty of humour in this series some slapstick, some situational but most if not all of the jokes tend to land & get a little chuckle or smile. There is also a very tiny bit of Fan Service but nothing more than panty shots & it's usually reserved for Akane just because she's easily embarrassed & it produces some laughs because of that. But just don't expect the show to be constantly throwing fan service at you as you won't get it here.

But overall an incredibly fun Slice Of Life Family Comedy. Also throw in some superpowers (some quite useless but nonetheless amusing) & this is one anime that you don't wanna sleep on. 10/10

This show is stupid. That needs to be said. The premise is ridiculous, the story stretches itself too far, and it's not exactly inspired in terms of jokes or visual design.

However, it must also be said, you need to watch at least the first two episodes. The exponential quality jump from Episode 1 to Episode 2 is what made me reconsider this show as a lackluster guilty pleasure for the absurdity to a genuine story that I would want to follow. It establishes a through-line that carries the entire series, and things get much better from the initial impressions.

This show has some solid emotional high ... points and an interesting examination of several members of the family, though not quite all of them. Initially you think this is a show about Akane and her panties, but it really takes the time to develop the character's perspectives over the course of the show. The wacky powers are used a bit too much as plot progression, but they do add a fun flair to the siblings' interactions.

What really lets this show down is the dialogue. This is extremely exacerbated in the first episode, where I felt like I was being beat over the head with repeated explanations. Again, this does get better, but I think the acting through situations and animation is better than the script, though the voice cast isn't bad. The dialogue was just so persistently uninspired that it really made me grit my teeth when there was a great scene with no back supporting it.

I was really surprised how much I was invested by the end of this show. It's dumb fun with some good laughs once it gets rolling. Don't expect them to do something amazing with the premise, but the characters really pulled this show through. They are memorable and quirky in all the right ways to make for an interesting goal-oriented comedy.
