Some of them may have supernatural-ish element, but if it's still set in real world, it's still in the list.

Also, please mind that not all of the anime in this list is tagged with shoujo demography. So if a romance anime that doesn't have shoujo tag is popular in the female audience, I'll add it here.

Just some plain but good storyline and normal but interesting characters and their day-to-day life with some good comedy and also some inspiring stories.
There may be titles that fit the description but are not included in this because I only include the anime that I have watched.
