Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha whan i started watching this anime i thought to myself this gonna be good but boy was i wrong.


Story:5/10
well i don't where to begin but here we go (Inari) is girl who can't do anything right when she's near her crush (Tanbabashi) so in frustration she goes to a shrine and make a wish to be someone else and from there our story begins but is it good for me no and i know that is just 10 episode series but come on there some interesting things going on like a human falls in love with a goddess and maybe it's ... neutral. and a girl loves another girl and she said it to here friends but nothing happened after that. and even (Inari) & (Tanbabashi) story not the main focus they opened so many possibilities but they didn't close it they just focused on the relationship between (Inari) & (Ukanomitama-no-kami)

It didn't grab My attention as in OP and ED but the voices was awesome i like it fits the characters models

will there was a good Character development although there was some Character got on my nerve (Inari) man she cries a lot but other then that she got a development and some secondary Characters too

While was there some moments that makes me laugh and episode that i liked but there somethings just got on me nerve

if you wanna watch it go ahead it's not that bad but if you wants a romance school setup that is not it

I sincerely believe that the main theme that surrounds the protagonist about her precocious romance is incredibly boring and repeated, it would only be advisable if you were under 12 years old and you were in love, as for the relationship that exists between the goddess and the girl is much more interesting that the main problem that leads them to know each other, although I think that Inari is not more than a girl too common to be so special and receive such power ...

In short, it is more interesting the secondary romance between the brother of Inari and the goddess (and that ... we see very little) that the long boring romance of Inari and his problems so topical and at this point very recurrent and even absurd.

P.S:I think it would have enough interesting topics to deal with if it were not for the absurdity of the protagonist

During the year 2014, Studio TROYCA gained sufficient popularity from its collaboration with Gen Urobuchi, birthing a hub of controversyーAldnoah.Zero, unbeknownst to many during that time, TROYCA released another series during that year that went under the radar because it wasn’t co-written by the guy who was primarily known for Madoka Magica and partially for gory, tentacle lolis (Saya no Uta).

• I didn’t think that I would like Inari Kon Kon after watching the first episode, because the female protagonist is pretty much a mouth-breathing creep that envies a pretty girl that her crush likesーso much so that she wishes for a shrine God to ... turn her into that girl.

• Luckily, the series doesn’t permanently stay in that stasis of continuity for very long, but there is a lot of main character privilege in the first half of the series. A Shrine God evens appoints the lead girl as a demi-God, why? Because she bandages the leg of an injured kitsune.

• I guess, by that logic, if you save an animal, a Shinto God may bequeath you with OP abilities, because you’re a special snowflake. The more the series progresses though, the more that it becomes likable. You find out that OP demi-God girl is granted abilities and later realize that she hurts other people with being careless with them.

• There are really good messages about superficiality, bullying, and LGBTQ themes intertwined in this fairly short, ten episode series. Some of the romances escalate too quickly, in my opinion, but the show is extremely short and the producers probably needed to wrap up the story in a conclusive way.

• Despite a series that’s designed like a shoujo, there is a lot of cleavage shots of Uta, but Studio TROYCA does seem to like to incorporate fanservice for males and females in all of their shows that I’ve seenーlike Aldnoah.Zero and Re:Creators.

• If I could compare the atmosphere and the humor of this to anything, I would say that it’s very bubbly and feminine, like Kamisama Kiss and Jellyfish Princess. Despite the issues that I mentioned, the series is very enjoyable and pretty to look at. If you have free time, I would suggest watching, since it’s only ten episodes and very cute/feel-goodsy. I give Inari Kon Kon a 5/10.

So at first i rated this as an 8 then after i finished it i was disappointed and dropped it to 7.I don't want to give any spoilers but let's say the ending is not good it's not bad but it's the unsatisfying ending that would disappoint you and you'll fell like it wasn't worth the time.After that i read the manga because it continued after the anime and that was quite a huge difference. It had more impact more drama more romance and a very satisfying ending.I ranked it as 10 and considered to drop the anime to 6 but gave up.
To wrap everything ... the anime wasn't special was like some average-to-bad anime to watch when you've got nothing else BUT i do encourage you to go read the manga as it will make a huge difference to the way you see the anime

Watching the three episode I thought this is a masterpiece of romance anime, two couples, one love triangle and super powers, where can you go wrong. This show reminded me of cardcaptor and when episode four happen and it went down hill from there.

This show tried to be "woke" like cardcaptor and when you go woke you go broke. It ruin one of it's character and it's love triangle. It got rid of the mc's love rival by having her fall in love with someone else, and the way she fall in love is out of character and your typical ... trope of falling in love after being rescue. The love rival is presented to us as a very pretty,fashionable, popular with the boys and girls. A girl who i am sure has plenty of experience rejecting people and would not needs to be rescue from men. She is also the boys basketball team manager around tall men everyday she would be able to handle herself. The show tired to add another love rival who at this point had no chance. There was good twists with the new rival but it have been better used with the original rival.

The b couple was handle better but they made it creepy by showing she knew him when he was a kid, making it feel like she groom him. There is no resolution with this couple as the last episode focus on friendship. Could have been, ruined by missteps.

I have 2 main problems with the anime which are explained below and are connected to the story so to avoid spoilers, don't read it



Even if i'm really into such animes, I needed 2nd approach to watch Inari Kon Kon, but to be honest i'm not sure myself from where it comes.
Honestly beginning of the anime is quite good. Maybe only most inpatient people might have to wait until like 2nd episode to start enjoying its story...which isn't bad, but i have some issues with it.
First of all whole story idea is based on one fact that doesnt make any sense based ... on how story went (if there was some magic reason for that, explained in manga, i'm not aware of it as i watched only anime). Main problem of main character Inari, starts becuase of the devine power she got from Uka, by using it with time, with stronger emotions it seems, even if she only got small part of it, it made rest of Uka's power turn back from her and go to Inari which would make Uka disappear as we learn in the end. The problem i have with this anime, is that somewhere in the middle, Uka explains that Inari saw her because of the miracle she have her which was given to her after she met her.... she also explain at the start of the anime that because how much she loved this shrine (and don't you even dare to call it temple :P, especially beatiful shrines like Inari) he was able to see fox that needed help and her. Which is already a paradox but also it still doesn't explain why her brother, Touka, was able to see her too.... (which didn't change at the end too as we can see him looking at her).

As i never care about small things, this was quite big fail for me as whole story was based on it. Uka needed to get her power back, but also she didn't want Inori to stop seeing her which started wave of anxiety. How i said, this was quite big and it kept bugging me trough whole anime every time Inari used her power and Uka was getting weak and everything which destroy the experience for me a lot.

Sencond thing i didn't like the anime, was the story itself. How i said, i don't know how anime managed it, but even if Inari is titled character... i feel like she got too much screen time - it can happen i guess. This one especially hits me as i'm quite deep in the culture, mythology and i find some of it really beautiful and i really thought this anime had potential. Saddly it wasted it. There was for sure too much of a school life problems we see in every alike anime from which most were reasons for Inari's problems. In exchange we get so little about Uka who might not be in title but still is on the cover... and to be honest i find her so much more interesting and appealing (aren't we all have own tastes? :P ). I'm more than disappointed because of how little Touka (brother) got sceen time, how in the middle started getting his own story with Uka, we got even retrospection of them and 'big' fight because of which she ended going to annual meeting at Izumo (Gods meeting, really amazing place). Yet last episodes there was nothing about him and he was completly leaved out of the ending - that was the biggest flaw that made me less enjoy this.

About music and artstyle there is really nothing to complain about


In the end i'm a little disappoited with this anime. Maybe it was only me but i was really hoping to see more of Touka and for sure more of Uka.
Especially if you check my markings on my list you will see i'm not playing some 'true critique' like some people do. I have simple rule, if something was fun to watch, there was no real flaws to complain about, was truly enjoyable - simple as that - i give it a 10 as it did a job for me
But in case of Inari, KonKon saddly i don't think i'll able to do it this time.

I think i still would recommend it to veterans as in the end it's for sure not next generic anime you can find out there, but there are many better shows, with satisfying and enjoyable story
