They might use different kind of storytellings most of other shoujo anime doesn't and more likely to have philosophy. Often well developed main characters, old and completed series.

As the title suggests, this interest stack brings attention to shoujo anime that feature protagonists who are career- or goal-oriented.

This stack is intended for anime that are dedicated to people of various common (and not so) professions and areas of work. Of course, mostly realistic and everyday animes, with a few exceptions. I've made it my goal to choose shows that are pretty relatable and informative, so if said anime has fantastical or obviously unrealistic elements, I'll mention it in parentheses up front.

Also, given the huge number of shows about certain jobs (cook, teacher, idol), I tried to include only the most interesting shows, at least for me.

Main-main MC unless there are 2 or more who equally share the spotlight. Will not add (yet) those I'm not certain of

To be part of that list an anime (or donghua/aeni) needs:
-To be complete since at least 1 year.
-To be first serie adaptation of an anime OR of a remake. (no earlier prequel/parent story)
-To not be in top 1000 popularity.
-To have a popularity rank 5 times as high as its scoring rank minimum.

Remember when the word "Remake" had a good connotation? This list aims to compile remakes that had a good reception from audiences, and in some cases, a better reception.

Protagonists who are EII in socionics. INFP in Mbti

Anime that feature female rivalries that are NOT based in romance (i.e. a rivalry purely based on two girls having the same crush. I didn’t include these bc there’s a lot of them in love triangle type stories so I don’t find them that interesting lol). I will update this as a watch more and get more ideas! Feel free to dm me suggestions <3
