Yu☆Gi☆Oh! Hikari no Pyramid

Pyramid of Light and the 30-minute movie for "Season 0" are both Yu-Gi-Oh movies that aren't canon in any way, and very much just exist for those looking for more of their favorite characters. The stories are short and don't really fit into either of their respective series at all, but there are tons of interesting cards exclusively shown in either one compared to their TV counterparts, and at least the animation looks pretty good (especially for the S0 movie). Is watching either of them pointless? Probably, but it is still interesting that they exist. 

Both the first movies for their respective iconic children's franchises Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh. Both feature the same beloved heroes from their respective TV anime in a more dangerous than usual battle with the highest stakes. Both from around the same era and likely targeting similar audiences. Enthralling characters, monsters and art styles. 

Both the first and most well known accompanying movies to iconic kids franchises Yugioh & Beyblade. Both feature our hero face off against a worthy opponent with the power to defeat them in a tense and close battle.
